He stated that all other ECUs would be compiled and released after one week without issues on the 04B04 "Base 2.0" release that was posted today. So, if all goes well, you (we) may be enjoying the 04B30 release at this time next Sunday.

Just flashed the Base 2.0 for a truck with 4.88 gears and 31~33 inch tires on 91 octane. Will report back after a 100 miles or so.

I loaded the new 04B04 2.0f 91 octane for stock tires and all subsequent starts do not have any hesitation including the initial startup and the second startup after clearing learned values. I should get my break-in miles completed tomorrow.

Basically just means click these two buttons while doing your flash and connected to the truck. It resets the AT (transmission) and LV (Learned Values) from what I've read. I did mine before flash then did the flash file - could do it after too I'd think as it's not really specified. It gets cleared either way. Makes the truck re-learn and gets rid of any previous issues to make a clean slate so we don't report issues that may not actually exist if it was not cleared.

Think of it as clearing your browser cache - so everything's a clean slate again and it'll start learning as you go with the new tune.

Any ETA on when the rest of the P5flash licenses are sent out? For those of us who mailed our dongle in last month?
    Thank you sir.

With stay at home orders, I’ve only been going out for essential things so I just now hit 100 miles on the now outdated 2.0 test haha. Outside of the startup stutter, the 2.0 test file has been rock solid. Some of the steep hills that would make the 19800 beta lose it’s mind are now a piece of cake. Truck holds third for the whole pull up the hill but also doesn’t seem angry about it! Before, downshifting always felt like I was mashing the peddle and my wife would look over at me like I’m angry lol. Now when it does downshift, it shifts smoothly on demand and the engine doesn’t sound like it’s peddle to the floor as before.

Time to load up the new test file and go for a little “essential” trip. :D
