What? Why would Toyota bother making an S mode if it worked the same as D mode?

2nd start please! 1-2 shift in 4-low is pretty jerky and gets old. Loved this on my 80 series.

 

That’s the way I read it as well. both versions on release and just let ppl pick. Everyone’s happy.

 

Gear lock is a great feature. I like it a lot.

I have not purchased vF, nor do I plan on it, but gearlock was one of the options that originally drew me to purchase the tune. Please do not omit for those of us who will not be using vF

Starting out in second gear is very helpful when driving on icy roads too.

 

2.0F gearlock as an option on FM same as 1.05? As long as we who want gearlock but are not going vFT don’t have to be concerned about adding it back in later. Tks.
