anyone else’s gas mileage drop? or is it just part of the values relearning? was doing 21highway, now 19mpg.

other than the known stumble- it drives great, power is there when i need it. drives like toyota should have done in the first place

My MPG dropped the first 2 tanks, but on the 3rd, it has gone back up to slightly better than before the latest tune.

My freeway mpgs are consistently higher. Very stoked that the 65-80mph range produces 1-3mpg better

excellent. i figured with the new tune using more direct injection mileage would increase, so thats good to hear.

I put 110 miles on my 16 Tacoma this morning, runs great except the cold start where it's stumbles if that's what it's called. Doesn't do it when it is warmed up. I also noticed that when I'm in the interstate, going up hill, it takes it a while to shift from 4th to 5th when I top a hill, I have to let my foot off the accelerator for it to shift up to the next gear.

I've been reading and researching ov tune and very interested. My one main concern is Carb Readiness Monitors. I live in New York State which requires state safty and emissions test for vehicles. Carb Readiness Monitors passed is a requirement.
Does ov tune affect the Emissions Monitor Test from running and/or passing?
Are there any "built-in defeat devices" in the ov tune software? Does it inhibit any DTC's from setting.
I have experienced this issue in my auto field with aftermarket ecu flashes. One in particular, Grand Cherokee SRT. I ran into O2S up and downstream very, very irrational and irratic data streaming. The PCM could not run H02S or Catalyst Monitors and wouldn't even trip a Cat Efficiency DTC.
OV tune needs to be Emission Monitor friendly if you will. Info on this would be great. Thx, Scott

I don't know the answer, but i can tell you that flashing back to stock is a very easy and simple process. I'd say if it were an issue you could always flash back to stock before an emissions test.

I now have 130 miles on the trial final 2.0, 91 octane, stock truck and tires.

I ABSOLUTELY love it, and have not experienced the Start Up Stumble, though I’ve only had (3) cold starts.
