I run the 91 base 2.0 final/beta from this Sunday, 31-33 5.29. I was able to test the speed governing yesterday. My truck taps out at 96 MPH. Yes I do have a speedometer calibrator, which is consistent with my GPS. The truck RPM's do stay up near 4K when slamming the accelerator, but it will not push over 96MPH. Also have the start stumble inconsistently on cold starts.

New to Tacomaworld. I just bought my dream truck 2020 TRD Pro about 2 months ago. I have been following this thread for a while. Definitely interested in performing this mod.

Does this tune retain the valve cleaning cycle that Toyota had developed or is it eliminated completely?

I tried to purchase the cable but it’s sold out on their site. Does anyone know if it can be bought somewhere else?

I appreciate the knowledge all of you guys share here.

I want to preface this by saying welcome, and please don't take my answer the wrong way. This topic has been beaten to death, it's reincarnate also beaten to death, and it's bones burned.

In short, the injector cleaning cycle remains stock and is unchanged. When and how Port/direct injection has been modified. Decide what that means to you.

The longer answer is: When and how Port/direct injection has been modified. Decide what that means to you. Search this thread and prepare yourself for the most experienced armchair tuners to have thrown in their $10,000,000, let alone their $0.01.

    *Edit*
    Said Valve, meant injector.

@OVTune hey Matt can you look into my dongle exchange/vftuner order #6339. I have not received the codes for the p5f flasher and vftuner. I sent the dongle on April 29th, usps took their time and was delivered on the 11th. Thank you.

Is the 2.0 04A61 tune on the beta page the same one that has been there for months?

Just drove 16 miles to an appointment. Trip avg was 18mpg. Speed was 60-90mph.
Weighed my truck last week at 5600lbs give er take (4.88's & 32's).

This is fantastic..., but very weird.

I have the stumble but this is a fantastic tune. I got ovt when 1.05 was out and I genuinely thought "meh" when I first installed. With the newest beta, the truck is perfect, minus the start-up issue. I drove 25 miles one way and average 80-85mph depending on traffic. Today I got 17mpg, usually it's 15-15.5. Great tune @OVTune

Anyone else still waiting on the P5F registration after mailing in your dongle last month? Not bitching. Just want to make sure I'm not the only one. Didn't want to repeat a ticket to zendesk unless thats what I need to do, in order to get this resolved. I know it is a third party providing the licenses. And have no problem waiting. But seen most if not all have already received theirs. And I sent mine in almost 5 weeks ago. I also have another owner tied to my dongle license. Maybe that's the delay. I did get the VF tuner registration pretty quickly. But haven't attempted anything with that yet. Since I don't have my P5FLASH license.
    Appreciate any info.
    Thank you.
