Not that I’ve ever seen. People have requested it as a feature to be added but that’s the extent of it. Same with locker any time. I believe mat has said they aren’t controlled by the main ecu so he can’t do it.

Hey guys hoping some of you can chime in. I went ahead and purchased the VF Tuner and Tacoma VF Tune Pack last night. I also purchased the Tactrix Openport 2.0 on the manufacturer’s website. I read through the instructions attached to the order confirmation email but I’m not completely clear of what the following steps are. I don’t see a link where I can download the VF Tuner. I do see the download link for the Flash Manager.

Do I just have to wait for a reply or an email from OV to get the software needed?

    Thanks in advance.

Yep, you’ll get a download link + instructions in due time, and a Master ID to use with your login.

After that you’ll have to send him your system ID (refer to instructions pdf on this), and they’ll follow up with a registration license file (refer to instructions again). After that you’ll be all set.

Thanks so much for clearing that up. The cable I bought will work with the VF Tuner correct?

I have well over 200 miles already on 2.0 91 stock tune. I have the stumble on cold start only, mpg slightly improved and power feels pretty good. Other then that stumble I would release the tune ASAP!

It is interesting I have not heard the MT's experience the Startup issue with 2.0F and for the AT's some do and some don't. It must be difficult for Matt to track down the root cause with the inconsistencies. Obviously a large amount of trucks experience it. Hopefully for Matt's sake their wont be too many other issues that pop up between the different ecu versions once they all are released.

Just over 200 miles on the 2.0 91 31-33 tire size tune. I have 285/70/17 tires (32.7 in). Does have the cold start stumble that's being addressed. Besides that the tune is flawless. MPG is slightly better than 1.05 91 tune I was on. Shift points are on point with how I've always thought it should shift and predictable at all throttle angles. I came from a 1st gen Tacoma manual V6, so the auto was pissing me off when I first got the truck even though the 1st gen was slower. Very smooth power delivery as the RPM's increase. On the 1.05 tune I noticed it had the Honda V-tec power spike at certain RPM's that made city driving annoying.

Direct shift in sport mode would put the cherry on top for me. Great work, Matt!

If you call that five tanks of 2.0 SFOB fun? That would be me looking out at the Taco thinking about the next drive.

I don't know if tune packs are released for vF. Most people in this thread care more about the previous flash kits.

The Tune Pack will have 2.0 for the MT. No Tune Packs have been sent out yet as far as I know.

If you have the old Flash Kit, you just need to update FM.
