If you're on the second "2.0 final". That's the most current one. Startup issue still exists

No. Those are older 2.0 beta files. You mentioned no other tunes available to flash since your conversion from dongle to p5f. Those are some options with no start up issues.

Hi members. I need help with the software. I can't seem to start P5Flash Utility. Everything I click on it, it does nothing and at the bottom of the screen it just states that it's "Ready". How do I get P5Flash Utility to start so I can install another tune. Any help is much appreciated.

Click on install ovtune cable drivers and make sure you hit yes instead of no.

No is selected by default. I made the same mistake

I've found the instructions quoted below to be very helpful in getting Flash Manager to run properly:

I had the same issue, still do. What I had to do to get it to run is turn off my norton antivirus. It is full of virus alerts and won't let you run it.

    In progress.... And getting better!
I’m running McAfee and I turn off real time protection when I run Toyota Flash Manager. Seems that none of these computers like the word “Virus” in the name of the software.

    Try
Click config > install all software then wait 10 sec
Then see if p5f utility is available

It’s more about the signature of the code itself; there’s some copyright protection in there and it ‘smells’ like a virus to the big anti virus softwares since they can’t tell what it actually is/does. It’s been beat to death on this forum with the same outcome: make an exception in your AV software and move forward.
