Being on one of the latest Betas I can't wait for the final with ECT performance. Right now the truck has never been better (less the startup issue). Any further improvements are a WIN!! I am ready for VF running fun and the forbidden final fruit

Has anyone ever posted a video of the startup stutter issue? I'd like to know more so I can recognize it if it ever happens to me?

I've been on stock tune for a while after dealer upgraded ecu, waiting for stable 2.0

I have not seen a video but when I turn the key (yes SR5er here) it will not start unless I keep it engaged a little longer then before 2.0....and it has a little sputter/hesitation but will start if I just keep it engaged 1-3 secs longer. The only way I can explain it further is to say it's got a little struggle.

Just for the heck of it, I flashed back to the the latest 04b31 2019 5.29 91 2.0beta tune downloadable from flash manager over the weekend. I tested out some WOT and was not experiencing hitting the rev limiter that i was on the 4.88 2.0beta 19800 91 tune so thats nice to know that it seems to just most likely be a result of running a 4.88 tune on the 5.29's. On the other hand, i had to flash right back to 4.88 19800 as the tip in is just flat out not safe in my opinion on the 5.29 tune. Can't wait for 2.0F!

@OVTune I'm way behind on this thread and the VF tuner updates...I was wondering what support for the Handhelds will look like for the release of 2.0 final and VF tuner?
    Thanks Mat

Rev limiter. I havn't had a chance to test speed limiter as i just don't really have a safe place to test it where I live. I have however gotten up to 90mph corrected on Scangauge so probably about 85mph on trucks indicator.

I was doing WOT and in shift from 2nd- 3rd i would hit the rev limiter truck would sputter for a second then shift and pick back up in 3rd and do the same thing in shift from 3rd - 4th.

here's a crappy video of it. excuse my shaky filming and sun glares but you can hear it from the audio. it actually didn't hesitate as much as it usually does in this clip.
    https://youtu.be/hkMf-v1fP24

When i flashed to the 5.29 tune on flash manager it would shift without any rev limiter and hesitation on both shifts.

Yup. That'll happen. It happened to mine a lot less after the transmission "learned" but still happens intermittently.

Mine does it every time on this tune. and none on the 5.29 tune i tested it on so thats awesome. It makes sense tho as the tune is for 4.88 gears.

You would know it if it were happening. I have push button start on a 2016, and it is just a delay in how long the starter runs before the engine starts. Like instead of starting 1 sec after you push the button, you can hear the starter spin up for about 0.5 sec first and then it take a second to start. Longest I have experienced is maybe 1.0 sec delay, but it is mostly under 1 sec. Not that big of a deal I don't think. Probably too much being made out of it, but that is kind of what we do on this thread I guess...
