Negative, refreshed and the 04B04 link has a zip folder and contents for 04A60

 

About 10min after a drive around the block.

But, it is now on the peeps to get on vF and figure it out themselves.

The link shown is correct, but if you hover over it, and look at the bottom left on your browser it shows its going to take you to the download link for 04A60.

 

weird indeed. Nonetheless, cut and paste works.

no OFT handheld .bin files in the folder - sad face.

Any ETA on the OFT files? Same process as last time? No hurry.

Maybe if you assholes had some patience and didn’t bombard Matt with ur stupid comments and questions he would’ve been able to finish the update to flash manager or what ever he was doing and you wouldn’t have the url problems ur having. Serves you right you impatient fucks.

 

I'm sure they will come in time. He's going to get out the majority first. If I remember correctly we need to send a request to zendesk for the files. Not sure if it's still the same.

 

So awesome! And of course I'm working out of town for another week. I'm looking forward to hearing what 04A61 guys have to say about the tune.

what is “enhanced throttle” when you get a minute Matt? Is this one tune that’s more aggressive tip in and less aggressive tip in?

 

@OVTune - Congratulations and thank you! Three quick questions:

1) Does "Thx" in the filenames mean "enhanced throttle," and what exactly does that mean?
2) What does the ECT button do if it no longer switches to a different map in these versions?
3) Is there a non-gearlock performance map in the works that can be switched to using ECT in a later version?

Enhanced Throttle:

 

The regular throttle response tune is perfect for where I like it. Too early to tell on everything else, but so far I like.

@OVTune Just so its crystal clear, these are octane learning enabled (OLE)? I assume the premium and regular is the starting point.

 

Enhanced Throttle = Some throttle changes that makes the throttle more sensitive based on vehicle speed and requested Torque (accelerator, basically).
Tip in is not modified between the two nor is the low speed range.
A lot of people wanted to have that performance tune file type of response without the low speed sensitivity.
