Dude, this is TW. Most are truly trying to be helpful. Some dcks, sure.
Don't bite the hand, politely correct when appropriate, but don't come out swinging since you might get hit back.
    Just my opinion

But as many have suggested, you could just follow OVTUNED posts. Appropriately, consider those posts as the source of truth.

my PCMflash has always been the only thing highlighted for me to select to flash my truck in the past so can i not use that still with the 2.0 file? if not how do i get the P5flash to work???

and how do you clear the values as recommended, ive never done that before either on all my tunes previously flashed.

PCM is dongle, dongles will not be getting 2.0
To get 2.0, you have to turn in your dongle to OVtune, which then OVTune will give you a license for P5F and a master key for VFTuner.

No, the dongle is the small USB key that you stick into the computer to run the flash.
The Orange Box is the Tactrix OBD2 Adaptor.

I don't think so, PCM was meant for dongle users.
Try "Config" > "Install All Software"
Your AntiVirus must have deleted the P5F exe.

If your flash too is grayed out, check you antivirus software. I know I had to add an exemption to get my to work after the most recent windows update.

Two questions for you guys.. Does anyone have OV’s mailing address to return dongle? Can’t seem to find it on the website.

Also, are all ECU tune files the same now in 2.0? Or is there still more benefit to upgrade via tech stream first? I’m currently on 04B02.

    1) Confirm you are on flash manager 1.3.0
    2) Try

    LstMinutePanic said:

I found this in a post from @BadKitty , and it worked for me:

If its a windows defender issue:

-Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.

-Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings, and then under Exclusions, select Add or remove exclusions.

-Select Add an exclusion, and then select from files, folders, file types, or process.(OV tune stuff)

I actually ended up taking a slightly different route by turning off "real time protection" under Virus & threat protection settings while running Flash Manager. While "real time protection" was off, I was able to use Flash Manager without any issues. I was sure to turn "real time protection" back on once I was done though.

    3) Or, in flash manager, click 'config > purge local data', then click 'config > install all software', then wait about 10 sec

I've got about 150 miles on 2.0 and my MPG is up significantly.

    Anyone else seeing the same?

Here’s a few extra tips to help make sure it gets there safely and for quick verification.

Send it with tracking and insurance and use a bubble mailer/box of some type (or priority mail which includes insurance/tracking already).

It’s a really bad idea to send it in a plain white envelope (USPS agrees).

And make sure to include your information in the pack. It will make it easier to verify information when it shows up at OVTune’s place.

Yeah I'm seeing about the same, which is quite significant considering I averaged 13mpg on the way into work (70mph up hill on the interstate). Up to 15 into work and 20 on the way home.

Interestingly mine is way down. I was getting 19.5 avg on the last beta, am getting 16 now. I'll give it a while to settle in though and see what happens. This is also on the premium fuel tune now, whereas I was previously on the regular fuel beta tune while actually using premium fuel.

Truck runs and drives great though, took it for a long ride last night.
