Were you using gear lock on the the Beta tune? I had the best driving experience with the gear lock!

Having the same issue, the downshifting going up hills is back. The prior 2.0 was great at holding going up hills in sixth gear this one seems to want to downshift at every hill. I only have about two hundred miles on it. I hope it just hasn't settled in yet.

B04, 91, thx 4:88, prem. I love this latest version but the downshifting is happening on every hill. The last 2.0, 91, 4.88 was great at holding 6th on most hills.

Have any of you clocked 500 miles.
I did not even change the shifting tables from last time

So I’m trying to download and run flash manager but this pops up

    EBB8DED0-F632-4EC4-8506-9382572CF2B7.jpg

I thought I deleted everything. Even in the download file it doesn’t show I have it. What gives?

I didn’t use gearlock that much, but it was nice to have the option when I wanted

I did not, which is why I wanted to wait to post my opinion. People just coaxed it out of me. I have about 225 miles on the tune so far and if it doesn’t get better I might try the stock tire size tune with the non-thx throttle to see if it’s any different

I may have about 250 miles, I love the tune as is but the one thing that I noticed and hasn't changed is that the last 2.0 pulled great without downshifting, this tune has consistently downshift at every hill I go over. Not knocking the tune just was surprised that it is happening since the prior beta was so consistent. I hope it will remedy its self in the next two hundred fifty miles because I really like everything else.

The thing that sucks is my memory is so bad that I legit don’t remember if I had this issue in the start of the last tune file I tried which ended up turning out fine

Probably resetting AT contributes to the re-learning process. Mine does a 6-5 downshift as well but it’s so smooth it’s hardly noticeable. I’m thinking this could be normal behaviour.

Have you guys confirmed the downshifts as opposed to the TC unlocking?

I’m monitoring which gear it’s in using a scangauge. The 2.0 tune gives me 6-5 smooth. The stock tune gave me 6-4 with a bang.

TC locking/unlocking wouldn’t be a 1500 rpm jump. It’s not hard to tell the difference between the TC and a shift
