Maybe you helped, and maybe you didn’t, but your self-righteous attitude has been super annoying, and you now back-handedly taking credit for 2.0 Final is both transparent and petty. Have you no shame?

No, of course not. After Anchovy said he checked with an OBD device, I just took what was posted as fact.. dropping from 6th to 5th. But then I started thinking that seemed like a very large RPM increase so I thought maybe it was jumping 6th to 4th, as others had complained about many months ago with prior tunes.

I watched it on the way to work today, I would be cruising in 6th, it would shift to 5th then quickly shift to 4th. If I wasn’t looking at the scanner it would have just felt like one long shift

I'm at 250 miles on the tune and my only complaint so far is a hard shift into second when cold. I should probably check my atf levels though.

I'm maintaining +2mpg over 1.05 using 91. I still spend a lot of time in 4th but that's a side effect of not being regeared, having a ton of extra weight, and 33s, and also living in the hills.

The annoying inability of the truck to downshift into 4th without putting my foot to the floor or throwing it into S-mode has been fixed though, and that was one of my biggest annoyances driving daily.

We will be preparing vFT versions of this current base 2.0 for the autos, for people who enjoy this version and want to modify it to their exact liking in VF Tuner.

Well, it was just a thought. I know a TC unlock can net 300-500 rpm change. I guess it would depend on what the rpm was before going from 6–>5.

2500 to 4000 is a fair change I suppose. I only have about 100 miles on mine so far and I’ve been pretty happy so far. Nothing specific or consistent yet that I can call out as annoying.

Ill know more for certain after this weekend but so far only about 40 miles and i cant find fault with it. I didnt reset all my Values. Throttle is better than the Premium beta

    Running the Premium 33 tune

I know you didn't specifically say it was lugging. My truck however WAS doing that on an older version of the tune, holding the gear too long to the point that the truck was struggling, so that's why I chimed in. I was always afraid of damage to my engine with the tune that put off downshifting as much as possible, and figured it would actually hurt the mileage because I was into the throttle so much.

My knowledge is dated, but on an old 911 that I owned the manual specifically advised against giving it a lot of throttle at 2k RPM or less, so that's what I always defined as lugging.

@monkeyevil So were you using the tune previously, then updated windows and it buttons were grayed out? Did your system ID# change? Curious of what
@KrnTaco08 It sounds to me like your antivirus is not completely disabled. Losing P5 flash tool happens to me also if I don't have every part of the antivirus disabled. Someone posted the instructions they used to stop Windows defender from catching ovtune. Dig through these posts and find it. So yes you need the System ID# to send in to ovtune for the new reg key. once you have the key u will download and open it. It will attach itself to your computer registry and the P5 tool. If P5 tool is not coming up it is definitely your antivirus or windows defender.

What size tires you have on your truck? I'm on 34's but using the 35 tune currently. Im planning on checking out the 33 tune after I passed 500 miles on this one. Currently running the premium thx, 4.88, 35 tune.

I've got about 200 miles on it so I won't comment yet.

Dongles aren’t getting 2.0, you need to mail it in to mat. He will convert you to P5

I found this on the original post though:

    22. What if we have a dongle version kit? Nothing changes, although if you want vF Tuner you will need to use vF Tuners flash software. It is not compatible with dongle software.

Does anyone know why dongle owners need to send them back to get a registration key for p5f? I would think OVtune has a database of dongle owners, he can just send the registration key to them/us.
