I flashed the non-thx version this morning and drove about fifty miles on and off the highway. So far so good. The bog disappeared and the truck runs great.

Verrry interesting. I guess when we both get a few tanks in we'll check in again?

Yeah I'll post back in a few hundred miles. I don't know what I am missing with the THX version but the non feels good so far.

I've got about 300 miles on the B04 stock THX and it runs great when I get on it. I am curious how this will net out for the different trucks. Thanks for keeping this conversation going! @Invid @Skydvrr

When you're on the freeway and wanna Pass, she definitely feels like she has more torque. Same with getting on the on-ramp. Keeps pulling all the way to redline. Hopefully this tune version works out!

@OVTune What is “enhanced” about the thx throttle. Is it more sensitive at higher speeds, does it adapt differently at higher speeds?

I can’t keep up and haven’t read in here since the most recent release.

Happy with the 04a61 tune. I was on 19800 before and was happy, this new release I’m even more happy with. Tried both 5.29 33” tire tunes with 285 70 17. Put 500 on the non thx one and thought it was great, put 200 on the thx tune and it’s great too. The only difference I noticed was at higher speeds I didn’t have to give it as much throttle to maintain speed as the non thx one, but both held the correct gears. Not sure if there’s tip in differences or not, but didn’t notice any. Downshifts are quicker and smoother than 19800 which I like too.

Also, the new tune doesn’t have the ‘stuck in first gear’ thing that 19800 had on my truck. On 19800, if I went 2 mph as I rolled through a stop sign, sometimes when I got back on the gas it would hang in first gear until 3500rpm or so no matter the throttle input. That’s gone with final.

No issues/complaints, nice job. I’m hoping my turbo tune is built right on top of these tunes.

    sorry so long winded.

I loaded my first tune today! Thank you Mat @OVTune for getting my licence sorted out last week. The instructions and process went

I must say I was a little nervous watching the progress bar...:(:mad:o_O:):D:thumbsup: Truck started! YES!! :amen:

So far I notice a nice settling down to idle after startup, gear changes are more pronounced right now, but also is staying in the correct gear for the conditions. So far I am very happy and looking forward to many miles on one tune or another. I Only had a chance to put about 100km on today after flashing. I was able to clear AT but not LV. I got an error on the Clear LV attempt.

Is there an order in which those should be done, I did AT first, was that bad?

    2019 DCLB SR5 -- 04B31 - Stock. Regular fuel, stock tire size.

    Appreciate any feedback, thanks!

You might have had the engine running when you tried resetting LV.

No specific order, however make sure
    Ignition ‘on’, engine ‘off’,
    Then Reset LV, Reset AT

Hmm, I may have... now I can't recall but maybe. I will try again, engine off, key "on"

I had mine fail after I cleared AT, worked after I hit it again, the second time.

Glad to see so many happy with the new tune!

I am patiently waiting until gear lock and catless dump tubes make their way into the lineup.

Anyone else waiting for a dump tube specific 2.0f or anyone have dump tubes and loaded the new tune anyway and getting a CEL?

Those features are listed on VF tuner. Ill be surprised if they ever make it out in a 2.x release. I hope I'm wrong.
