    I have 34in tires!

I ran both thx and non-thx on 33in tire size tune. I’m not sure how it would drive if I had tried the 35 tune but decided to round down to 33 tune and shift points are spot on for me.

I might have to try this. The shift points are awesome with the 35 tune on both my 33s and 34s. But, I'm thinking non-thx might be the way to go

So hold on a minute. Does ect do anything in the current 2.0? Your image implies that it doesnt. Others say it changes shift points and makes is more peppy. Is this the performance part of the tune or not? I feel a little something but a little underwhelming

Honestly, it's unclear what ECT does on the most recent 2.0. It's definitely NOT a performance map, but it's potentially functioning like the ECT on a stock truck with no tune. So higher shift points or higher rpms or something. I could never really feel much of a difference with ECT when the truck was stock, and I don't feel much of a difference on the newest 2.0 either. So who knows...

It’s perfectly clear. It functions the exact same as a stock ect. Holds gears longer, more sensitive throttle, blah blah blah

Cool, with my truck it's probably one of those wonderful Toyota quirks where each 3rd Gen Tacoma seems to have it's own individual temperament. Mine probably doesn't play well with ECT, so I don't really notice a difference. I'm really looking forward to a future tune version where ECT is a separate performance map.

I don't think it's *that* clear. I'm all over this thread and I'm confused on what it does.

What tune is everyone with 265/75’s running? Stock or 33”? Might be upgrading this week.

33". I like it. It works well, but I don't know how it compares to the stock tire size version. It shifts well, has good power, and I'm getting 19 to 20-ish mpg. So I'm gonna stick with the 33" tune for now, but I'm very curious how it compares to the stock tire size tune as well.

I've used it on stock and every single tune released, always a big difference with ECT on. 1.05+ECT would be the perfect tune.

If only there was someone who knew the ins and outs of this tune that could shed some light on what everything does.

I check it every once in a while to see the noise behind the scenes, in this case, totally worth it.

Just got back from a camping trip pulling my 4,000lb trailer and gear. Avg 13 mpg towing (could’ve gotten better, but traffic on the way back was a crawl). ECT is a must towing this much weight. Drives way better and keeps the momentum and rpms up. For those that can tell ECT is working try towing some weight.

Without the trailer I netted a new highest avg for the tank with my lifted heavier than stock truck (bumper, winch, sliders and 32’s) at 21.2mpgs. This was from 3500ft to 7200ft and back elevation over 200 miles.

Running the 04B04 91octane 4.88 33” (non thx) tune. Very Impressed how efficient the tune was.
