Interesting. May have to try that one. So far 2.0 is running terribly on my truck. May have to hit up Mat.

    I'm on the latest Final 2.0 O4B04
    Running 265/75/16 c-load dura tracs.
Stock gears. THX Tune. 87 fuel (but I use 92 unless N/A)
My favorite was 1.05.1 87 base.
Using the Ect always on mod non-meso.
(With all the tunes I've used, I also cheat w/SuperSprint throttle module) No tune has ever had the tip in I like so I supplement with a throttle controller. OVTUNE/MAT highly frowns on this. So, if you try it, do not blame anyone but yourself. It works for me and allows me to fine tune the Tune, since I do not plan on using VF. Anyways. The latest 2.0 Tune, that I chose with the help of Sprint boost works great and has netted better mpg's than my favorite 1.05.1 tune. *note- been tuning for a while now and decided NOT to reset any values with the latest 2.0
Ran great from the get go. If there was the slightest negativity from my favorite tune I would have switched back asap but. This one is working well for my current set up. Approx. 1500 miles on the latest 2.0
When the GL comes out I will definitely try it and hopefully it will work properly as it has in the past. Towing a trailer w/ GL is very nice.

I remember him saying something about people liking a more sensitive pedal for driving but not in the tip in area but I don't know if that was pertaining specifically to the development of THX or just regarding something else

I concur, 04B04 here, handheld, and drives fine to me. I might go back and forth with 19800 to see what I like better, but next trying the 35" tire tune on 31.5" tires.

If everyone is having problems with 04b04 then what happened?

From my count, 2 people are having problems with the most recent 04b04, one person posting a lot
There are more positive posts than negative.
And in general when it comes to reporting, positive people tend not to report since they're happy.
So, pretty sure it's the individuals situation, not the norm.
If I remember correctly, OVTUNED's truck is 04b04

There are a lot of tunes to choose from, find the one that works for you

Yeah definitely more than 2 people on here with issues. Or maybe some don’t take their rigs in the dirt. I loved 2.0 thx....but it was day/night on dirt. You hit some trails and the pedal was all over the place.

Don’t get me wrong I’ve been happy with 2.0 final, final. But the final final final final is the one that kinda hit a bump in the road. Anyway of making 19800 have the the ect feature now on the 2.0?

Not fanboy'ing, but curious, now the tune is supposed to know if you are on dirt or not?

My understanding of the ECT holds shifts longer, that's it.
Maybe try a bigger tire 2.0 tune, to emulate what you are looking for?

I've yet to do it, but as above, it's on my to-do list since that is what I'm looking for

Seems everyone likes something different. Try different versions, and/or modify your own by buying VFtuner

Maybe when you go in 4 h/l? Staying low speeds lower gears? I'd have episodes of a dead heavy pedal to only get a sudden surge which would cause me to lose traction. Just felt weird.

Trust me I'm a happy customer, just expected a more polished final release.

same tires here. that's the craziness of the tunes, 1.05.1 shifts perfectly for me and holds the gears a bit longer which is really nice. I loaded that same 2.0 tune, better but still not what 1.05.1 was for me, I'm going to reload it this weekend. Might try the "final" w/ect perf. map.

Do you have a Cold Air Intake? I thought I read someone having similar issues and Mat chimed in and they figured out it was the CAI that was causing the pedal issue. Could be wrong but...?

I suspect many (like me) are quietly happy with the tune.
I'm on 04B04, latest 2.0 THX, premium and I like it a lot. I haven't given much input because with current world events, I honestly just haven't put enough miles on it to really have a full opinion. I think I'm at around 350 miles since I flashed the most recent tune.
Drives great, no complaints at all. I'm not seeing the MPG increases some are, but I'd imagine that has more to do with me only making a few short city-driving trips each week now.

While I'm putting on lots of miles, I echo this. I'm super happy with this 2.0 release. Zero issues, and off road is pretty damn good too. 04B04 Premium THX
