This might be a dumb idea or question, but would it be possible to flip the way the automatic shifts in S mode with the ovtune? So instead of it shifting up when you press forward on the shifter, it would instead down shift and visa-versa.

I know it’s a little thing, but it’s always felt bass ackwards the way you shift in S in the Tacoma.

I haven’t been paying attention to the thread. Any updates on release of 2.0 performance and tow versions? Just wanted to make sure I didn’t miss it.

The new flash manager hasn't been released yet, right? I skimmed the last bunch of pages of posts, and filtered just OVTune's posts and didn't see any indication...just confirming.

You don't get anything physical. You download VFtuner and get a serial key + a registry key in your email to unlock and register the software. Send him your System ID once you get the software installed. You still use what you have left with the dongle kit. I was one of the original buyers years ago and all of this works perfectly. It sucks you have to wait a week or so to have the dongle mailed in.

Thanks, but this is just referring to VF tuner, correct? Or does this include 2.0 performance and towing version?

I’m guessing you’re about a driver and passenger over the taco’s payload with a respectable trailer weight too. Glad to hear you’re happy with the performance. I’m looking at about 4500-4750 lbs all-in for a trailer and limited payload in the truck. When the time comes, if it doesn’t handle it well it’ll be time for turbos or the wife’s Gen 5 Disco to do some towing duty.

I had air bags pumped up to about 45psi. I was very surprised how well it pulled and handled. I’m on 5.29’s and I was cruising 55-60mph in 5th gear spinning around 2300rpm while on the flat portions of the interstate.

Downshift to third climbing the mountain hills from ca Bay Area up to downieville area. est Climbing from sea level to 3k ft elevation. Trans temps never exceeded 210 with stock cooler.

I don’t often haul the bikes with me. But had to bring em on this trip.

I averaged around 11-12mpg over the trip.
