Matt indicated yesterday that he had the issue worked out with the serial numbers/registration keys. If that's what you're still waiting for you might email him again to be sure he didn't miss you.

Oh nope. He got that squared away pretty quick. I used that to pull some code. Then shipped it off to him. Now I'm at the second wait stage for the registration keys or whatever you need to pull your ecu data.

image is a bit sucky but I'll show you the AFR difference before / after.

@OVTune with your statement that this WOT AFR target is a big improvement over 1.02C, does this mean that the 1.02C for us AT guys would benefit from this? If yes, will there be an update to 1.02C AT (i.e. a 1.02D) to include this change? If no, why specifically would this not benefit the AT?

I know...I know....but OVTune's statement does beg the question for us AT guys as you can wide open throttle both an AT and MT and I'd have to assume Toyota's targeted air fuel ratio would be the same for both and thus both would benefit from this improvement.

With that said I'd like to hear the answer to my question from OVTune.

I'm excited for you MT guys. I still have questions regarding by the AF targets are so rich in some cases, most of what I know seems to indicate reliability is a driver and I would then wonder if the slightly less rich targets being implemented could indeed (Even on the current 1.02C tune) have some long-term impacts on engine reliability. I'm assuming not since he's still keeping it in "safe" range but everytime something like this pops up I ask myself "why did toyota do it this way..?" and I know much of the answer is emissions and mpgs but I have to assume there were other things in the engineers minds at least in some areas....

Really excited you guys have the throttle lag eliminated! I love the throttle response on my AT now with 1.02C

Yes it will mean more power. Kind of wish (and I'm sure in all due time) there would have been another dyno run on the updates to 1.02C b/c my butt dyno certainly FEELS more ponies vs. 1.01b and 1.02b...
