No problem. I ran that 0944 on my truck with stock gears, it is good! And it’s 87 octane. So now I’m running 93 octane, so I’ve been on 19770. If gas prices rise, I’ll be back on 0944!
(0944 is 4.88 gear 2.0 beta with aggressive tip in.)

Does anyone have the full instructions on how to flash my truck with the new 2.0 with p5flash manager, i can get up to flashing it! But it says that file might be corrupt or something, when i downloaded the file and extracted it this is my second time trying

 

What are you extracting? If you download in flash manager, you don’t need to extract anything.

If you down load from one of the links here or in the Ovtune blog, you just unzip the download and the select one of the files after you click flash it.

 

Dude I’m having so much trouble so i have the file download(which is all the files for 04a61 so when i open flash tool and i click flash it! I click the file i want i get a message saying file is corrupt or unknown

 

I’ve updated the flash tool app and installed all drivers and software

 

I’ve also tried downloading it on the tool and it says error downloading etc......

Some of the older versions had issues updating properly. Quite of few of us (myself included) had to uninstall the version we had, then download and install this one and hit update. I believe this one also contains a new version of toyflash

Those files are not there. Only 1.05 files are there for ATs.
Are you sure you are 04A61? And not 04A60?

 

You can’t download 2.0 with flash manager.

Yeah pretty sure 04a61 2018 dc 4x4 so what do i do here a little lost

 

click identify in toyflash. It’s right by the flash it button.

you need to be sure of your ecu and are using the proper files

 

First hit identify and make sure you are 04A61. Then when you hit flash it, a box will pop up to choose your file. If you don’t see it there, don’t go out of that box to search for it. Search for it in that pop up box, then double click it. Within a few seconds another box will pop up saying your battery voltage, just hit okay and let the program do its thing.

 

Yeah still says the same thing error installing wrong format or corrupt file, I’ve installed the software the only thing i see is when i run 1.3 flash manager and try to open f5 flasher it doesn’t open

 

I go to the instruction page on the flash manager and open the flash tool from there since it don’t open on the actual flash manager

 

Do you have av disabled / exceptions set?

 

Did you turn off “real time protection” in windows defender? I have to do this when I can’t open the flash tool.
Also, did you identify your ecu? Was it 04A61?

 

What is AV disabled/ exception set where do i get to that?, where do i go to check the real time protection maybe that’s it because it won’t go on, and the ecu is is 04a61

 

Real time protection is in windows defender settings on your laptop.
