 You can use Ctrl+J to expose the option and then get it, it just won't show the option

Very true. It really dogs on tabbed browsing. But, the sync with Android is something that I just can't walk away from.

I have the full set of browsers including the last version if IE because certain corp sites still require it. I'm not sure what they are going to do when Flash dies. I flip between them all when needed.

I get your joke, but replace it with what? :santa2:

-- BB was cool in its time, but failed under its own weight. I still miss the keyboards. :tinfoilhat:

-- Samsung bloatware and :tumbleweed: :turtleride: :smash: OS updates were too much for me to handle. I did like the battery swaps, but that is gone now and unnecessary with the latest tech. There was that intervening generation that sucked though.

-- Apple and I (computers and phones) just don't get along. I have tried since the extended sunset of the Commodore64 days. Today's ecosystem throws me off even more.

-- Google unfortunately fits. I'd like to be independent, but that is not the way at the moment.

bahh the proper tune files were in my spam folder even though it was a reply to my previous email... flashed it for super fob premium and definitely notice the early power delivery now, helps a lot with my MT stock gears and skids, camper, cab+camper racks, and tri-battery setup. drives wonky like it stutters/random power delivery but I'm chalking that up to the reset learning values. I have pre-emptively filled up on 91 the past two fillups so there might be some 87 blend in there still as well.

I put off updating the ECU using TechStream to 04b14 for now, unless there's a noticeable difference between 04b10 and 04b14

Ummm, yes. There's a big difference going from 04B13 to 04B14.

Was there ever a performance tune for 04b30? I downloaded the packs back in June and I don’t seem to see it.

Not yet. Some 04B04 folks are testing the Final release options now.

Note that there is a TSB out for 04B30 / 04B31 going to 04B33. OVT is working on that Tune Pack also. The 04B33 Stock tune is in the latest version of vF and the TSB is in the ECU Update thread 1st Post.

Note that @OVTune is trying to work out how to handle TSB updates with folks that purchased Tune Packs.

There’s a huge difference from 04b12 to 04b14.. 04b10 is going to be even more significant.

@MOC221_ can give you his feelings about 04b10

The TSBs are attached to the post and can be found at the nhtsa site. This TSB was for driveability issues, but there always seems to be other improvements than is noted on the TSB itself. From what I have found and chatted with folks, newer ECU IDs are simply better, both Stock and Tuned.

They say built until Sept 2020 but what about earlier builds? I know my truck was built in May of 2016

Starts with mid 2018 MY builds. Given that it is all but stated to be partly an ethanol issue, if it affected 2016s / 2017s, we would definitely know by now.

:rofl:ok I’ll give it a go today. Just put on 20ish miles on the 04b10 tune and it’s already making the truck peppy and tolerable

dd light bars, trd cat back exhaust, KDMax tuned, trd skid plate, 2" lift, sema wheels toyo open country at3 tires.
so, i have 04B31 and the "latest tune" from OV, without the gear lock, etc mods. are you saying i should update to 04B33? but, you are also saying 04B33 isnt supported by OV at this time, so i would have the toyota updated tune but, not an OV tune? i do have vf tuner purchased but, havent delved into it, too skeerd.

You got that correct. Folks are reporting good stuff going from 04B31 to 04B33. But like you said, you would need another Tune Pack. I don't know if that new Tune Pack would drop with Base Full or 2.0 Final. We just know that OVT is working on the support for these new ECUs.
