Hey guys, I emailed for support, but didn't hear back today. Not shocked, it is Monday. Can anyone help?

Error Downloading File (in Flash Manager)

Flash manager is updated to 1.0.4 and config 1.3.3

I've rebooted, and tried running as administrator. Registry keys are installed, I've done the "Install All Software" and "Update" etc. Everything obvious

Service Dropoff in the morning - need stock tune 2019 MT 04B40

 

All FM files were pulled recently for the 2.0 AT Final update.

 

So if you all remember back in May with RIPP and their new fancy horsepower improved coils. Here is a 6month review of them and legit feedback. They are indeed bogus. Just thought I'd shed some light on this for all you ovtuners !

 

So what? Now I’m stuck with my tune?

edit: I was able to pull it off the hard drive from my old laptop that bricked. Whew

 

You didn’t download all the tunes for your ECU?
Weren’t they in a zip file, like all the options in one file?
I have them all if you need one. Just pm me and give me your email.

Edit- Didn’t realize you were MT. But I’m sure someone on the MT thread can send you any file you need.

With this thread being 3400 pages long, awesome, is there a how-to or website link someone can point me to on how to get started here?

I.e. I want to get a tuner and tune my junk up but damn it sounds like it's gotten complicated.

You have 2 options to get tuned
1) purchase vf tuner, tactrix, tune pack
2) find someone local with vF offering tuning services

 

I'm running the 04B04 2.0 premium stock 5.29 tune at the moment, and twice now when going down a slightly steep hill at around 40 mph, while letting off the gas the truck downshifts twice, I'm assuming from 4th down to 2nd and it's a serious engine brake basically. It goes from 4th to 3rd then to 2nd, maybe a half second in-between the shifts. I don't use ECT or sport mode at all either. Luckily I was coasting to a red light and stop sign each time, but is this normal? I have about 600 miles on the tune so far, and seems like I lost about 1.5-2mpg as well which is odd.

Also, since I have the premium tune, this means the truck will take either 91 OR 93 octane, correct? Only have 91 here in Cali.

 

Was cruise set? If I set my cruise it'll downshift to maintain speed on a hill. 60mph is the"fastest" speed you can downshift into 2nd with, so 40mph sounds about right imo.

 

Nope, no cruise set at all. I was going through a neighborhood at the speed limit and this has never happened before. If I wasn't coming to a stop I feel like a driver would easily rear end me because of the sudden deceleration lol.

Is the 04B04 2.0 premium the latest tune to request for a 2017 AT?

Yes. With the 285 and gears, you'll want to run either the matching-gear and 33in or 35in tire tune. If you got a Tune Pack all of those will be in there.

 

Local shop is doing it.
Stock gearing.
Said 30 minutes installed and out the door.

Yes. The TSB flash, an OVT flash, and any Customizations is pretty quick.
