I looked at ovtune’s website and tried skimming this thread, what’s the situation for those of us with the handheld tuners. I flashed my 17 with a 2.0 beta and haven’t really kept up since the vftuner release.

    I have a hand-held and running 2.0 "final"
Message Zendesk and request a link to the files.
The files are the 2.0 final with tire size, gearing, and thx options, no gear-lock.
A number of pages back there was talk of people testing the performance final version, nothing released yet.

    What beta are you running?

I've been running the 2.0 Reg flash since March in my 2019 MT. I wanted to try the 2.0 Prem flash but have been unable to download any flash files from OVTUNE. Sent a zendesk on 11/25 but haven't heard back yet.

I did have the recall low pressure fuel pump replacement done a couple of weeks ago. No issues with that.

I believe vft are the editable tune files (by VF Tuner) which then get compiled into the un-editable p5f format which is used to flash the ECU

Same thing I just experienced. Couldn't tell if it was driving like stock or just reset learned values. I believe the latter, based on shifting. Nothing on my work order stated a flash was done. I had already done the TSB to update my ECU at the same dealership. And my computer just crashed so I can't reflash or check it. Thinking I might have to get the handheld unit instead of relying on a laptop.

That's what ijust realized. Haven't checked this thread in a while. Sooo I just ordered an 11" HP Stream. Basic question I'm sure has been covered tons:

-Do I email OVtune for a new license for the new computer?? Or could I buy VFtune and skip that??

The work order has no mention of a ECU reflash by the dealer. They do note the the floor mat is securely in place so I don't die if it is slipping around! (every time I have had to bring the truck back to them!) I would think that they would take credit for flashing the ECU if they did so.

Anyone willing to share the p5f files for an 04b41 MT? I'm looking for the 2.0 superfob PREM & REG files. I've been running the 2.0 REG superfob and want to try the PREM for the next few weeks until the snow starts to fly. PM me, if you please.
