    I've been looking at the OV Tune site and I'm trying to figure out what I need in order to flash my taco. Do I need to order the vForest tuner software and flash cable? I've read through some of this post and it's 3,489 pages and I'm a little confused on what is needed with the changes being made. Any help here is greatly appreciated. :cheers:

    Quick questions for anyone who knows, does the OV tune 2.0 files based on tire size recalibrate the speedometer? I assumed it did, but a buddy of mine with 35"s says his is still off, same as before the tune. Just wondering if I did something wrong, or if there are other solutions people are using in conjunction with OV tune to solve this?

    No, it does not. Hypertech is the only solution I know of but I have never used one personally.

    Yep, it originates in the skid control ECU. ECM has nothing to do with it excpet read/receive it for engine speed/load calculations for shift points among other things I'm sure.

    You have it right, vf software and flash cable. If you want the 2.0 tunes, you would get the tune pack as well.
