Just curious as I'm not very experienced so I asked a friend who is a master mechanic about this. His response was the supercharger was belt driven, easily installed and very reliable and that Magnuson made them for TRD and the EFR was exhaust driven and dealt with a lot of heat that shortened bearing life making it not as reliable with more components needed for installation. Again just curious as I know his supercharged Tacoma runs nicely and would love something for mine as well..
I trust Mats opinion though and it will be fun to see how this works out.

 

I feel confident the FKS will do 400+ ft lbs without trouble.

Superchargers are definitely easier to install. I am not saying a magnusson SC is not a good option. I am just saying in my opinion a well suited turbo kit using a EFR will be able to make more, and have just as good if not better response.

can't agree with the heat / bearing comment.

 

I'll let you know how these imports do, although they've won the last few years.
