@OVTune , my bad for the multiple messages! Just sent you an updated message via e-mail! Trying to keep track of all the TSB’s for my 2019 that would bring ECU from 04B31 to 04B33!
    Thanks to @Shellshock
I just updated to 04B33 and my request# is 22677. Looking forward to the tune pack for 04B33! Though, I will say the TSB upgrade to 04B33 is pretty impressive!!!!

    Two questions:

How do I update VFTuner (uninstall and reinstall?)

For the filename 04A61_Reg_Stock.p5f... is this the 2.0 tune and does "stock" mean stock tire size?

No need to uninstall. Just download and install the new version

P5f files are the old files.. you need vft files to edit them in vf tuner

    Yes thats stock tire size

    Thanks for the response Shellshock.

I don’t have much interest in doing any tuning on my own. I just want a pre-made tune from OVTune (which I have purchased via the TunePack).

This has been bugging me for quite some time. Did I waste money purchasing VFtuner considering I don’t plan to edit any of the files?

    No. You need both components.

vF tuner - the software to flash, create, modify tunes
Tune pack - the premade tunes you can flash as is or use as a starting point to modify

    Good Morning Toyota family.

First, happy holidays and I hope everyone had a safe, Merry Christmas if you celebrate it.

As we close 2020, I want to thank everyone for supporting our business and making all of this possible. 2020 was an eventful year. From a pandemic to supply shortages and worse. I just wanted to thank everyone for continuing to support and believe in us through these hard times.
Things were delayed. Schedules changed. Lives changed.
Without you guys none of this would be possible.

Going forward to 2021, our development schedule has me very optimistic. A new, simplified version of our software. (the simplest, I promise you!). No more 1/2/3 day waiting. No more multi step registration process.
More options, more customization on the horizon, fixing any little bugs, fixing drivability issues by going around Toyotas code.
I understand waiting for updates can be very hard. I am an impatient person myself. I just want you guys to know that I am always focusing on how we can improve things, what we can do to make things better, changes we can make in the tune, our software, etc to stream line things.
We are here for the long term. It's exciting to think what code, patches, tunes, and options we will be making next year and 5 years from now!

    Thank you.

I'm super new to this but I have a buddy that's tuned cars before. He said I need to bring my Taco in to a tuning shop to do this. Is that correct? Or can this be done DIY by someone who is computer/tech literate?

I sent a zendesk request and got a reply (22155) to the email I received when I made the purchase. Do you have an update on the WiFlash OBD2 many of us preordered? I sent the request 12/5/2020 so I’ve given it some time for a response. Just curious as I haven’t heard a peep about it and follow all the threads fairly close.

An update was posted in the main vF thread (I believe) a few weeks back. Waiting on a FW update from the supplier, or something like that?
