VF TUNER SERVER (Credit server, and software) Will be down From Feb 1rst for a big update.
This will not affect your ability to use/tune with the software
This will not affect your master key/ license / registration
You will not be able to request new credits during this down time

We are hoping to wrap up all of these updates ASAP! it will streamline a lot more things. Thanks

Nice! I just bought some credits today... "before the update"... so hopefully I can get things applied to my account somehow to unlock some ECU's soon... I know you don't read this but I wanted to post it anyway.

Sold my 2008. Next owner popped it because ringland failure... I don't really miss it. Understeering. Pig that wasn't quick enough in relation to many other cars that were coming out.

    ugggghh
    I had a 13 hatch I bought new
Did all the work myself from exhaust swaybars every bushing and upgraded the fuel system. I had it handling like it was riding on rails. Kid bought it and about 6 months later I get a text from prime motoring Saying the kid brought it in high as hell on a donut with the motor blown.
    I miss it everyday

So I upgraded from the original tune kit to the VFtuner. I registered everything and downloaded the the v2.0 Final VFT file for my ecu but I can’t put any into the VFtuner to edits them. I keep hearing you need to wit for the tune pack. Isn’t the v2.0 Final VFT file the tune pack or am I missing something?

The zipped folder of vft files is the tune pack (you get a download link from zendesk). You’ll need to unzip the folder and then you can open the files in vF tuner.

In vf tuner, you just go in the upper left and open a file, then browse to the one you want to open. The first time opening a ECU, it’ll ask if you want to use your credits. It costs 4 credits per ECU (04b04 for example) and you can open any files for that ECU.

ok so I have my ecu unlocked.

When I go to the tune pack folder is says there are no files in the folder but when I open the tune pack folder up from outside the VF tuner program I can see all of them.

The only one I can see is the stock tune that was in VFTuner.

You have P5F files. Those won't open in VFT. Only .vft or .bin files can be opened in vF.

Also before you request a TP, carefully consider updating to 04B33.

As I said, you must request a TP from OVT for the ECU ID that you want.

You can flash those P5F files to your Taco, but you cannot edit them.

I think some AT folks were playing with that and getting close? I'm not 100% sure. @Mooseditty17 and @PapaRee ?

But, it sounds like the 2.0 AT Final options are getting close. @OVTune has posted that a big update is happening next week.

I screenshotted one of my posts from a while back for gear-lock. I personally do not use gear-lock.
You basically use the lowest number in all the ECT shifting for each map. Then gear lock is S mode+ECT. You lose your ECT.

@OVTune Hey Mat - I sent in my dongle a couple weeks ago. For some reason I can't find my support ticket auto response. I created a new ticket today (23822).

Looks like the free VF tuner trade in link is broken. Any updates when it will be available again?
