Is it normal to receive your master key before you get your VF Tuner? I ordered my tuner on 3-29-2021 have not received it but got my master key

 

If you're talking about the software, you can download it from the website www.vftuner.com. If you mean the cable, yeah shipping usually takes longer.

Back when vf tuner was announced we (dongle owners) were offered a free upgrade. I thought we were also going to get access to the tunes we had previously purchased when 2.0 came out. I signed up and have access to vf tuner but how do I get the tunes I already paid for?

I seem to remember we were supposed to trade in our dongle but I never received any information on how to do that.

The VF Tune is a little confusing I've installed everything the only thing I have to do now is go to the truck and hook the OBD 2 cable up. To get the VIN number but where are the tunes.

 

I wish I knew. I am over $1,000 into this (dongle - 800, handheld-300 and vf-75) and I have zero tunes and it looks like I need to spend another $350 to get them. I have a cable that is probably worth $150 so I got that going for me, which is nice.

 

Wow. Hope you get this sorted out, that’s a bunch of money spent there. I’m sure @OVTune will sort things out for you. He always does.

 

You don’t have to spend more money. Just send a ticket to ovtune requesting your tune pack.

You can also try the various customer made tunes using VFTUNER. Some are free and other are sold for reasonable prices. I highly recommend the KDMAX 6 tune pack by Paparee.

I thought fastest way is to email him via zendesk? I regeared back in Oct. 2020 and now I cant flash my truck to 1 of the 5.29 tune. Frustrating.
