    ** Order Status **
    - Dongles are on the way priority for pending November orders. (other dongles still sitting at port. EMS is the worst.)
    - Expecting to ship out all pending November orders ETA NTL Dec 8th.
    - Once all orders are out we will begin sending out info for people who pre-ordered
    - We will be at "in stock status" by Dec 15th
    - We *should* be able to keep constant kits in stock from Dec 15th onward

    ** Development status **
-Auto vehicles- (some things I am working on / testing. does NOT guarantee they will be in any release)
    - new shift setting map I am almost ready to show you guys, completely rewrites everything 5th and 6th gear related. Removes restrictions on shifting in and out of 6th.
    - Revised AT ECU Throttle maps
    - Deceleration lock up development continues
    - Transmission Torque learn mode elimination development
    - 1.03 ignition revision nearly complete (fixes misfires!)
    - Atkinson mode revision testing begins in January to compare actual MPG loss vs toyota "OEM" Atkinson mode structure

    OP updated.

I will not be on the forum as often during catching up all orders and wrapping up some R&D in December.

got it. will have key soon.

Hopefully some of this 3rd gen capital helped speed things up! Congrats on the progress!

I really hope this $700 part/tune fixes this truck. I just drove from Texas to Colorado and could not use the cruise control because of how often it jumped down into 4th (and even 3rd) gear on flat highways in the Panhandle. It becomes like nails on a chalkboard after a while. I also got around 15.9 mpg, just me and my dog and basic luggage in the truck. I bought the Tacoma because I am loyal to the brand after Land Cruiser experiences, but so far, it has me thinking the diesel ZR2 would have been the smart purchase for every reason but mythical resale value.

So glad I stumbled upon this development. Spent a good few hours catching up on the discussion and progress of this project. As much as I like the 3rd gen, (even traded in a 16 for a 17) the bizarre shifting and throttle response has always bugged me. Consider me sold.

I would like to thank @OVTune for being patient while dealing/working with me. I'm sure I was a total pain in the ass(positive on that), but he kept his cool and had a good attitude during the transaction.
My initial impression driving after the tune was loaded is positive so far. I'll report more after I put some more miles on the truck and it does its learning BS.
Again @OVTune thanks for your help, You've given me a reason to be excited to drive my truck again.

@OVTune, now that you're driving your own Tacoma which version do you prefer?

    To everyone else same question.

Drove my truck off the dealer lot like I stole that shit. I haven’t baby’d the truck since the day I bought it. Because of that I do my maintenance though very religiously.

Then learning shouldn’t be an issue. I noticed very little change from when I flashed the tune.

Okay, consider me sold as well. How do I get in on this or mist I wait till they're ready for general public? Also, what impact will my doing a 4.88 gear change have on this software? How does it affect the mappings, if at all?
