Was in on the first batch order of the November sale. Seems like people are getting there kits and going through registration process. Although I did get tracking info after I was one of the ones not to receive it initially, it just says label created, USPS awaiting item. Nothing has changed all week. I'd almost rather drive down to OVtune to pick it up to get this process going, just wanna get in on the fun others are having. And I see others are getting kits, and mines still waiting shipment. #2169. Really would love to be dialed in with the tune by new years.

 

curious if Jan.3 1.03 dyno will also possibly include MT development. please reply if you have a sec, and thank you.

some pre order folks may be receiving automated shipment emails, as I am preparing them, but they will not ship until next week

for other kits waiting for tracking updates, looking into this for you guys. Post office is really lagging right now, took them 3 days to overnight something I paid guarantee on

Pump the brakes there man... still no full solution for 04B10. Just a test tune (yeah it works.. kinda, without ignition upgrades).
I don't want to hear how well your truck runs, we all know it does

Reading the engine and transmission ECU's took a long time. I was so afraid that something was going to happen in the middle and I would brick my ECU. I am glad it all went smooth. Kudos to Matt!!!

 

Haven’t been following this much since the last tune update, is this thing still developing or was that the final iteration of the tune for us auto guys?

 

I am in the same boat. I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised if USPS is to blame here. They seem to consistently drop the ball, at least in my past experiences.

 

He’s doing some more dyno time with his R&D truck on Jan 3rd to test out some stuff for a 1.03 release. I’m assuming it will be released sometime in Jan

Reading the ECU does take a while. But loading in the new tune files goes much more quickly.

Yeah, not sure what's going on. I live 30 miles from OV so I thought I'd be getting the kit quick. But others are getting it and have already been through the license process. I was hoping to have all that done before Mat steps out of the office next week for a couple weeks for the holidays. Looks like it may be after new years now till I can get the tune flashed unfortunately. It will be worth the wait, I'm confident in that. I'm really just more excited than impatient. I'll take my pills and drink my holiday egg nog now. cheers!

 

productive day at post office. They require that I drop off packages in the loading zone because I drop off so many. As a result they put them in the wrong place.
I'm thinking this is why they get scanned so late. They won't let me drop off 100+ boxes through the counter where they would be scanned.


Those damn dongles that never showed up will be here today too.. I cannot believe how bad the postal service is.. I've never had so many problems until I came to california.

I will be out of office as in nothing ships. But I'll have email access. I promise you guys nobody is being left out, left behind, or being ignored. If you haven't heard from me yet, I simply do not have an update yet.

 

Right on Mat! That's cool you'll have email access, but Im sure you deserve some well earned vacation time also, so don't work too hard.

 

Come to think of it these issues started popping up after I had to start dropping packages in the loading zone because it was so many boxes....from the tacoma kits.. never had problems when it was just a few boxes
