Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

I,m order #2184. That,s all i get is label created/scanned. Postal service blows and I don,t they should even claim to have tracking unless it works as well as UPS and Fed Ex. Emailed Matt..... No reply Max

 

It's not the postal service's fault. "label is created" means exactly that. The shipper started the shipping paperwork but most likely has not dropped the box off at the post office. The tracking number is still correct, it will just get updated once the box is inroute.

 

I'm sure there are a lot of us in the same boat.
It'll get here when it gets here. The post office must be a Gong Show at this time of the year.
They say the patience is a virtue. And I'm a feeling virtuous, during this early Christmas Season.

Love how the car idles so smooth. Cant even tell it’s on sometimes! I also don’t here the injectors (?) self cleaning ticking anymore? Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Also, anybody know of any long term effects of flashing our ECU’s? I know flashing our ECU isn’t new, but the tune for our trucks are.

 

Flashed mine yesterday! 1.02c 91 A. Only have about 25 miles on it, but it's been a nice upgrade so far, and I haven't felt the need to turn on ect, which was mandatory for me before. It hauls ass when you tell it to which is nice. I'm looking forward to further improvements now that Mat has a R&D vehicle so will be interesting to see how far he can take this thing. I think I'll go for another drive now for some further testing and fun.

 

Self cleaning is still active AFAIK.. It is on my M/T, that's for certain.

Well done, sir. I know you've sold a lot of other platforms but I'd say the increase from 1966 (my order from Aug) to 2324 equates to a jolly holiday season for the Wilson family! Ho ho ho!

 

Would you think it's possible to have a program that will shut the vehicle off if the key is not detected and the ebrake is released?

Well damn. What’s the point of rushing these orders out if we can’t do anything with them for the next two weeks.

So you can get your hardware kit and start the license/registration process. He said he would still be available via email so there's a chance you may have a tuned truck before New year's.

Got my confirmation today but don't see any tracking yet. Order #2272

 

Order # 2184 here. No email But shipping label made on 12-12-17....Only 101 orders ahead of you and you have tracking and I don,t....... Gotta love it. Max

 

Just ran the tracking number AGAIN and low and behold it says "departed San Diego in transit" 12-20-17 11:25 PM.
I recieved no email but glad to see it made onto the stagecoach....Max

 

It's so annoying that this thread has turned into "I'm order #1234, where's my stuff?" Why can't that be done through emails where you will get a response?
