@jholc21 @InternationalHarvester , you guys are right, the one that's 1.5MB has the earlier time stamp, and remember reading the engine first. Thank you!

Bump bump for @OVTune .. please tell us - are M/T updates intended for 04B10 as well? Have you figured out the unholy garbage inside this ECU version?
    Tester here!

Not sure if any one care but I'll share this anyways.

Matt is working very hard, I got my license key yesterday morning, I got home at 6PM and read my ECU, sent him the files at 7PM and expected for him for send my tunes in a couple of days. But I was wrong, I got my tune files 2 hours later (9PM), I was getting ready to go to bed, but I was too excited to try the tune, so I loaded it and went for a 30 minutes drive.

Again, Matt is working really hard and I believe he cares about his customers. The truck feels great btw, and that's using the 87 octane tune (shift A) , can't imagine what the 93 feels like.

Same here with my tune. Sent it off in the evening and got a reply that night. Matt is a machine. He’s put a lot of work into this and it’s only going to get better with time.

I remember something along time back about a intake thingy and maybe your own exhaust, oh and of course the turbo. I am ready for the customs tune part. Want to see what can be pushed out of this 3.5.

Your PCMflash registration key looks too short (behind the error window), are you sure you're copying and pasting the whole thing? Also, make sure your purple dongle is plugged in.

That looks like the answer.txt code you're supposed to send to Mat. The registration key he sends back should be something like 32 blocks of 8 alphanumeric characters each.

@TSAN87, @Comb makes a good point, you might be jumping the gun and skipping some steps.

I got my license key, read my ECU, and got my tune files all in one day (yesterday), Matt seems to be working pretty hard these days, hopefully you get lucky too and get your tune files today!

Agree with y'all on Mat's work ethic on this much needed Tacoma tune. Following this entire thread & reading @OVTune's quick replies along with everyone's positive reports is what got me to not only buy his tune, but buy my lease out in the 1st place. Was getting tired of the hunt & shift tranny, not go mention the throttle delay & crazy YZ like power band. Yeah, that's right, I'm old enough to of voted for Reagan.

@OVTune - Hi Matt - I'm sure you are buried, so I apologize for bugging you. I purchased the tune on 12/18 and the paypal went through. Haven't heard on shipping, etc. I sent an email and PM on 1/1. I know you were out of the office, but I saw there was at least one other payment issue and wanted to make sure I wasn't lost in the mix. Order #2324. Thanks in advance.

Why must the activation process be so unnecessarily complicated? I understand why the control mechanisms are in place, but it would be a very simple process to automate.
There’s got to be some smart coders and script guys here willing to assist Matt and his folks.

I would have to agree, simplification of the process would speed things up with fewer problems/errors. Maybe something that permanently ties your vehicle by vin# ECU# to the software and activates the license in the first email.

Haha, so mean. My kit is on its way to me. To be honest, if I've got to do a few extra steps to get some better performance outta this rig & haven't gotten greasy or scraped a knuckle or two like the older days of performance upgrades, I'm all good. I feel sure that Mat has his reasons for the way things are. I'll deal with the extra keystrokes happily.

Loaded 1.02c 87 oct this AM before I went to work and so far I felt like there’s more HP on the low end. More responsive In the highway as well. Shifting feels like it’s where it’s suppose to be. If this is how 1.02c feels like, I’m curious to see what 1.03 brings. Since this is my daily driver, I hope MPG gets better. Right now, I drive 60% highway and 40% stop and go and my highest so far is only 16 MPG and I don’t even drive like I stole the truck... Soooooooo disappointing.
