Truck pulls my TT with ease. I have a manual and do pull in the mountain's so take off from a stop with my manual transmission can be sketchy at times. This is where a Auto would be preferred. Id just buy a Raptor before buying twin turbos for this truck.

Excellent! You can be the first to run these turbos with a tune. Make sure to turn up the boost for full effect.

Matt, can you say you have disabled “learning” and reverting back to its old habits with this update?

Also, did you end up getting better MPG with this update?

Yeah I'm sure a supercharger or turbo setup would cost 5-8k. For that amount on top of what the truck cost, you can buy a decent diesel . If I need to go wheeling, I can buy a purpose built vehicle. The tune is good enough for me at the time being.

I agree 100%. I think you'll be happy. My TT is smaller at 17' about 19' to tongue. I personally wouldn't want to tow anything bigger mainly because I camp in the hills West of Denver. On flat land a bigger TT probably wouldn't be a problem.

Just tell me how much for f/I and I'm in.

In the mean time I'll take a more aggressive tune. MPG is no concern.

The ones I have been looking at are around 20-22 foot. All around about 3500 lbs unloaded. We will mainly be close to home in places that have fresh water and sewer hook up. It won't be a big deal to make a trip or so do I don't have to carry everything in one trip. If I want to venture further, we will just take it slow and steady. My wife and one of my sons went tent camping and are coming home today. The weather has been in the low teens all week. It will be a luxury having a small camper for them. Me, and my daughter and our 3 year old stayed home for this trip. I did bring them some extra firewood. I'm surprised they lasted the whole time. They are tough. I have pulled an enclosed trailer with two zero turns and other mowing equipment. I will for sure be getting a wdh and anti sway for the camper that's taller. The truck pulled it fine. I think 1.01b and 1.02 actually pulled better then 1.03. it maybe in my head though.

That is close to my TT weight, I'm about 3200 unloaded. Mine is older though, 2008 so newer ones are lighter. I usually load a small generator, 2 pretty big batteries, 2 tanks of propane, 2 jugs of water, food/cloths, fishing equipment and etc. Passenger wise it's my wife, 8yr old, 12yr old, Blue Heeler and a mini Schnauzer:) When hitting some of the more secluded sites up high I am revved up but the little I'm 3.5 does pretty damn good really. Just have to get used to the motor screaming haha. And I do run a equalizer hitch with brake controller.

Btw your fam is going to love sleeping in a heated trailer with a stove and TV for some movies:) Hell of alot better then freezing your asses off in a tent;)

Thats what im wondering about. Honestly the stock truck is “managable” i think the tune would completely fix the issues i have with it. Dont want to buy tune though until learning is fixed or disabled

Just curious, so if he never released an update going forward you would be happy with what you have for $800? Just want to clarify

Let me try to dumb it down for you. If you were left with the tune you have today with no further updates would you be happy with the $800 you have spent on it?
