If I ordered an AT with crawl control tuning kit on Jan 15th, when would I expect it to get shipped out? I know there's some lead time.

 

In 2016 I waited 90 days but I ordered it in quicksand with all the bells and whistles that weren't available here at the time so your wait im sure will be shorter. Also the dealer should have given you a time frame..?

 

Ok, so I'm not trying to be the "fuel mileage guy" (don't hate me) but I'm about to pull the trigger and just want to confirm I'm not going to REALLY tank in mileage. I'm seeing inconsistent reports. I drive extremely normal and get about 18.8-19.3 no matter what (no lift 265's tires). I drive a lot so don't want to dip to around 15-16 or anything.
Hoping somebody can give me the peace of mind so i can just buy it and not think about it ever again haha

 

My combined mileage from pre and post tune sits at th same 17-18, which includes a lot of city driving. This has, on average been the exact same stock and tuned - occasionally I get better mileage with the tune but overall it’s about the same. I have 300lbs of bolt ons, on top of being an OR with tow package so I would probably be closer to your mileage without all the weight.

Running a 1.1" lift, 265/70/17 tires. With the lift and tires before tune was 16-17.8 highway, 15-15.5 city. After tune 1.02A 87oct, 20-21 highway, 16.5-17.5 city. Did notice a 1mpg savings running my tonneau cover though. Seems to get low MPG when I baby the gas pedal. For some reason, flooring it, and aggressive driving gets better MPG's. No joke.

 

I notice some of this as well - I can get up to 2npg better if I leave it in S4 around town and sometimes it even feels like ECT helps vs hurts MPGs

 

Awesome! No need to talk anymore MPG's as that's not why we're tuning. Just wanted to make sure i wasn't completely tanking it.

I’m waiting OV response to unlock my new device. What’s a good contact to get this done? Seems annoying to wait 2 or more days for licensing. Am I doing something wrong?

How long have you guys waited for OV response?

I see that he is sick but he did mention he was going to get stuff don’t yesterday and I would think that it wouldn’t be hard to send out a quick email so I can install the tune.

 

OTOH... there have been actual DEATHS linked to the current flu epidemic that's going around. Let's give OV a chance to recover. I'm sure he'll send out files as soon as he can.
