People have waited a lot longer than you have. If you've followed this thread you would have known what you were getting into and known that patience is required with getting the hardware, then going through the licensing process, then actually having a tune flashed in your truck. Poor guy just got back from another continent with the flu, and he also has a family to tend to. That being said, I understand the frustration, hang in there, you will be taken care of.

Not crying. I don’t follow this thread and came here to Post as a last resort. Look at my join date and post count. I tried reaching out and no response. Seems like he has enough time to post on here so was curious on why I didn’t get a quick email response saying “may take awhile”.

Early pages of this thread were people saying licensing was extremely quick. Sometimes within the hour. So 2 days no response I was curious on what’s up. Came to this post to try to reach him thru this page instead of no response email. I posted, then noticed he had the flu. I edited my post saying I was aware he had a flu.

I dont remember if it was a post here (Im not going through 400+ pages to look) or an answer in an email I got but the self cleaning feature is not messed with in the tune, it works like normal.
EDIT: I guess I didn't read completely... post 2810 did answer it thanks @MOC221_

Sent my Data dump in on the 18th of this month. Knew that he was still in China, so had no expectations of receiving my license key till sometime after he got back. With Matt's already backlogged customer service after his trip, and now adding a Nasty case of the Flu into the mix may delay things a bit longer.
Most important thing is that Matt takes care of his health. Work can wait.
They say that Patience can be a virtue. ;)
My key will get here when it gets here.

Ditto @Scruffie, I've put up with my Taco's issues for 2 years, a little longer ain't a big deal till the files come back. That flu is nasty, sorry to hear you were in the hospital Mat, hope you bounce back soon. Not because of tune files, just because.

Thanks for answering my question of how long others wait for files. Flu and hospital visits are 2 different things. I have no problem with waiting for health recovery

I am going to be removing a lot of secondary projects / development this year and focus solely on the vehicles we intend to master, which means more free time, and less waiting.
Mazda / Tacoma / tundra / and some nissan stuff.

    :)

I guess some of my early predictions on this thread weren't too far off! Sometimes things just aren't within your control....death, illness, divorce, etc. Get better soon Mat!

@OVTune, Since your getting back to being alittle active on the forums. What’s the status of 1.03? I’m sure both the automatic and Manuel guys could use an update. I’m curious on how things are going and what you think of the data gathered from some of the testing done so far.

When I plug the purple USB reader into the new laptop, it just flashes as opposed to the old computer where the light in the USB stays lit up. I copied my files from one PC to the other. Could it be recognized as a copy and not the original files?

Edit: Never mind that last post. I had a geriatric moment. It helps if you download the drivers.....!
