From the graph with all that extra hp/tq at the lower rpms the truck would act the way it should have from the factory without downshifted at the slightest hill. Thanks for answering as many of our questions as you could keep up with. I'm sure you will be getting many orders soon....

 

yes we can do it. This would be a great piece to add to the truck tuned or not. Toyota is notorious for making catalysts that are extremely restrictive. "ULEV"

I'm I seeing this correctly?

Is there seriously a 21% parasitic loss in the drive train on the automatic transmission trucks?
I would expect numbers like that if the truck was AWD. However just spinning a through shaft on the Transfer case and the rear drive components that is pretty inefficient. I was expecting in the ballpark of a 13-17% loss. That 6 speed auto really is a buzz kill.

I hope the manual transmission shows a reduction in these losses.

It is better than expected. We were expecting worse. Consider Toyotas 8 speed direct shift. 467HP at crank ...360 at the wheel. eats 100HP

also this is a dyno dynamics. "heart breaker" compared to a dyno jet. But required for proper load tuning
