    Happy Birthday @OVTune. Kinda seems like I got the present though. Just loaded in your tune & went for a quick drive. Awesome work!!!! And I'm only running the 87 octane 1.02A. How much more fun is the 91, I might drive out of my way to gas up if bumps it up even more. As soon as I started it, I could feel it running smoother, no slight vibration in the steering wheel. Throttle works like its supposed to, push on it a little & the motor responds quickly, push on it a lot & it immediately roars to life. Shifting worked nicely, I'll try to get out on some slight hills that would make it dance between gears & see what it does. Really, really amazed with the overall performance. It's so great to step on the pedal & it goes, doesn't slowly ramp up and then search for a gear. Thanks again Mat & enjoy your birthday.

    You'll still have to buy the tune license from @OVTune for $325.

    My apologies if this has been asked already. . .500 pages is a lot to sift through.

    If the dealer were to flash over your tune, what will happen? I ask because for my Porsche, I had a Cobb AP ECU tune, and if the dealer were to perform a flash (new update, fix, etc.) with the Cobb map installed, it would lock out the Cobb for further flashing, rendering it useless. Needed to revert to stock any time I went to service to avoid this possibility.

    Stealerships are lazy as hell, they won't update your ECU unless you ask for it, and even then you'll have to beg lol

    Dealer wont know its there. You can always remove the tune prior to going to the dealer. It takes 5 minutes to flash to stock, 5 to put the tune back on. Real easy!

    I’ve flashed at least 15 times now :anonymous:

    So true @Lt_Dan, even when I'd go in with the TSB in hand, they'd say they're not sure it applies to my truck. Well, check then dang it! The truck sold me, not the sales staff or service dept. Parts department was okay.
