So do we start over...? Uninstall everything and then install flash manager so we can continue with the new process..?
Will there be new instructions to show us how to convert to the new system..?

There will be full, fresh and new instructions that should leave no questions.

But you don't have to change over anything, our flash manager is just to help people get setup (like downloading drivers, downloading pcmflash). Then you can use it to download tune files.
so if you already have drivers / pcmflash / etc you would use the flash manager only to download tunes.

Just purchase the 16-17 auto. There’re all the same kit , just an internal tracking for Mat that they are identified separately

Answered questions within the quoted text above. Everything shows correct until you open PCM flash. Based on messages from OVtune, I'm hopeful I'm in that group of people he's mailed a new dongle to, but he hasn't given me any confirmations. Here's a pic of my device manager if that helps at all.

The only thing I can think of is that the dongle requires USB 2.0 and my USBs are both USB 3.0. I bought a USB 2.0 hub to test that theory. If that theory is correct, then guardant needs to upgrade their dongles.

I thought it was sold out when I ordered my kit back in November, emailed Mat and he told me it doesn’t matter, I ordered the 16-17 manual kit for my AT with crawl. Just a way for Mat to track how many of each option he’s shipping out

USB 3.0 ports are backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices. I tested it on my end with a setup similar to yours. Windows 10x 64 with the dongle plugged into USB 3.0 port. Even without activation, PCMFlash detected my dongle and displayed the serial number and version.

Your computer is detecting the hardware. I can only surmise that the dongle has not been activated correctly hence why PCMflash cannot read it. Might want to go through the GrdTRU program again and verify that the dongle was activated.

Does anyone know the link on this thread for the computer requirements? I know it’s here but haven’t been able to find yet. Checked the OVTune site also. Thanks

I had the same issue. Tried a splitter, hub, uninstall/reinstall drivers, etc. The computer detected the dongle and I could run the Guardant diagnostic utility on it. Everything showed up fine, but pcmflash could not access it. The only solution was to use a different computer.

    From website:
Mobile computer / tablet with 2 USB ports (or a splitter) with windows XP through 10 (windows XP or higher)

Essentially any Windows machine made in the last 10 years will work. There are no large hard drive, processor, or RAM demands of the software as it is all very lightweight in terms of size and resource consumption.

Also, some of us have run via MacBooks using Bootcamp or VirtualBox if you don't have or want to buy a Windows machine

Great. I scrolled through the site but didn’t see it. Obviously overlooked it. Thanks for your help and feedback earlier. I did order the tune afterwards. Pulled the trigger on an exhaust also. Figured I’d get it on before the tune.
