Man, sorry to hear some have a bad shifting experience. One big reason why I got a manual and even more excited once I get my kit from @OVTune.

Keep us posted on how you like 1.03.

You know, I'm not a hater of my stock tune at all but recognize its limitations. That being said, I've owned BMW M's, MB AMG's, and almost bought a Cayenne GTS before picking up my '18 Pro a month ago, so I'm pretty stoked by all I've read on this post (all 10K+ comments!), so I am definitely down for a pre-order when the next tunes become available. Sign me up! Can't wait!

Well, my 1.02 has been clunking for a while. Feels like hard shifts.

Clunking? Does this happen in D and S modes?

Happens in D mode. I don’t care for S Modes. Did it with ECT on or off.

Sweet!!! So what's the scoop - did you see a need for more airflow? Are there performance improvements to be had with these new products? Will there be tunes available specifically for them?

It means it won’t be CARB legal.

I’d like to report that 1.03 made a huge difference with the clunking issue i was reporting. Obviously I’ll need to drive the truck more but good god what a huge difference.

I was able to reproduce the issues I was having almost immediately with 1.02.
1.03 is proving to be a completely different beast. No matter what I did I was unable to get it to do what it did in 1.02.

The truck feels night and day better with just the shifting changes OVTune made.
I can’t wait for dyno day when he tunes this bad boy even more.

You guys are in for a treat.

Best birthday gift I could ask for.

Glad to hear this has helped. Man, this was fast.. didn't he just offer to give you the 1.03 tune like 45 minutes ago?

I am a fairly new adapter of the tune, I would say maybe 1000 miles on it? I have long since stopped worrying about the milage but do others notice it is all over the place? I know the readout just as you turn off the truck isn't the most accurate thing but I will see 12 other times I will see 22 then I will see 16. No pattern that I can find. With the stock tune I use to notice if you drove it a little harder it got better milage but not too hard. I got to the point where I sort of knew what I was going to get based on the length, speed and aggressiveness of the drive, now I feel like it's a crap shoot. It drives so much better that I don't mind. Before the tune I was pretty close to looking at a full-size. Thinking well if I am gonna get shitty mileage at least I will have power. Just wondering if that is something that settles down after a bit?

Been waiting patiently for 1.03, had to revert to stock due to that annoying as hell clunking when my truck comes to a stop. I really hope 1.03 gets that issue taken care off.
