Using apps like obd fusion to monitor any number of different things in real time, like, engine oil temp, transmission temp in pan and converter, front diff temp, ignition timing, almost anything, individual wheel speed in the abs system,
Instant fuel economy ect......

I did as much as I could to create a nice flat torque curve, and hold torque as long as possible. A few tests I was able to create a nice flat torque curve except it was in general lower everywhere though.

A lot of time today perfecting the ignition, changes to injection firing angle, and an extremely long list of other things.

I expect to release at the end of this week. More power was gained than expected so I have to tweak the maps in the transmission to firm up the shifting. Since the expected torque is lower than actual the transmission is a little sloppy on shifts when it's cold, because the truck no longer has the dead fish feeling when cold, not limiting on cold engine. I will have this fixed tomorrow.

The difference now in how the truck responds and accelerates is phenomenal. The response to what the driver demands is immediate and crisp.

 

@OVTune all those dyno number done on 91 Octane? if yes, what should we expect from 87?

Top Curves are HP and Bottom are Torque correct?

 

238whp is a good bump from where it originally was. The old chart showed it around 221-222.

I think this truck will do 250+whp with full exhaust (that's next )


Because of the update needed to the transmission, Manual Transmission owners will receive files first

 

Safe to say that those with the Spec U exhaust will see these numbers with 1.03?
