Yeah, that has me a little perplexed too. I don't think the performance issues are as bad in the 18's, but I admit that in non ECT mode and cruising above 50mph, If I ease into it I can get my foot pretty darn far into the gas pedal before it decides to respond with a gear shift. I drive ECT mode about 80% of the time. But that mode isn't as sophisticated as regular drive. It does provide more performance, but it's at the expense of subtlety and smoothness.

I asked him if there were any changes to the torque learning, and he responded with this:

It sounded like he had done something similar to replicating S-4 up to a certain speed which likely plays a factor in killing the learning. In mentioning it will never race up to 5/6 at lower speeds, the only way he could ever achieve this would be to eliminate the learning imho. Sounds perfect to me - even before all his magic, running the early 1.03 test I felt like it was absolutely perfect when I ran S-4 around town and S-5/6 on the highway....

2018 ECU tables are the same as 2017, the ECU processor and code is just different.

    The "throttle tables"
    The "ignition"

    it's all the same.

will have more info to share this afternoon.
For people whose kits are awaiting UPS pickup, the OBD cables will be picked up today. Fedex did not deliver and now they are holding at the location. Thanks fedex......

I am currently running the first version of the tune in my M/T truck. I had some problems with the initial install and think my software or my OS might have been corrupted. Can I/should I uninstall the original software and reinstall though the new download manager? Laptop w/Win 10 system and I just got done cleaning it up and updating the OS

Will you post the link to download the new map? Will there be instructions on how to flash the new build?

THAT SIR, IS A VERY GOOD QUESTION.

@OVTune , we are on the eve of receiving an update for our M/T trucks (before the A/T guys - heh). Straight up -

Will 04B10 trucks get the exact same benefits/updates as all other M/T trucks with this new release (1.03B)?

I’m 99.79% sure that transmission learning has been killed. Once you flash it is the only time you will have to flash until the next update. I know it says something about it between 3-8 pages back but I’m too lazy to find it.

That's been there before the recent update so i'm sure it could have changed. OV hasn't gone over what he mentioned yet so it's just a waiting game at this point lol
