There are two sets of cats on the truck. Removing rears shouldn't hurt, and as stated the 02 sensor pulls the reading from the first set of cats... That why removing the first set by adding the power extractor pipes will throw a code.

Now I don't know if you'll pass a California visual inspection with the rear cats removed, but any computer inspection should be fine.... At least that's the general consensus, and my exhaust guy that welded on my y-pipe said the same thing.... Now if it turns out they're all wrong when I have to get a inspection next year, and it doesn't pass for whatever reason, then yeah, I might as well throw on the power extractor pipes and be done with it.

There is no visual inspection in California. Only have to pass smog every couple years.

Talked to Gadget at UDR today and they are working on something to keep the CEL from coming on when you run the extractors but have not solved it yet. This may be something @OVTune could solve. Just need my answer code so I can get the data from the truck.

 

I just emailed him to see what kind of numbers they gained on the u-spec system

yes we are working on decoding the complete DTC table, once we do we can disable the DTC codes on any off-road / race truck.

 

I am looking at the Dyno chart . Can someone explain to me what the different lines of green and pink are. I am guessing before and after the tune is applied ? Are 2 lines trq. and two hp ? Sorry for being stupid but I really see no labels on the graph .
If it is before and after , there looks to be a huge change from 2000 rpm and up ?
