Tacoma - OVTUNE - VFTUNER - Update Info and Original Development

Possibly stupid question, how do you dyno an automatic vehicle that can't be locked to a specific gear like our trucks? If you floor it it'll change to the gear to give the most acceleration, yet your dyno doesn't show any gear changes

 

Mat can gear lock

 

two different ways to do it (only safe on the dyno) gear lock it by manipulating the ECU, disabling downshifts, or modify throttle tables to make it WOT without pushing the pedal all the way

LOL not all of us are biding time for the twin turbo's.

would it just be a mirrored curve at lower numbers or would the curve change slightly?
