He's likely going to try to delay since the new faster method is about to drop soonish... That being said, you might get lucky and he sees this and goes ahead and gives you something if there's going to be more delays with 1.03.

 

I'd like to at least get the tune on the truck. I understand he's probably quite busy, but 700$ is no small amount of money, I'd like to get the product I paid for.

 

I hear ya. I went through the same process... I got the tune on my truck, then started seeing those damn MT guys acting like barbarians over 1.03 so it was a short-lived excitement and back to waiting.

 

I heard that Mat prepares for a tune drop by spreading cream cheese over himself and chugging red bull. With any luck, he's doing this now and you guys don't have to wait much longer

 

1.03 AT will be released later this afternoon via updated flash manager. You will also be able to download 1.02C maps if you like

 

Will we need to download an updated flash manager or will the
"download new version" be active and need to be selected at that time?

 

Dumb question for those of us with pre-orders. Will there be a completely revised set of instructions for using Flash Manager and the new, "simplified" process?

 

Not a dumb question to me as the UPS dude just literally dropped off my kit. I did get theV2 instructions from the MT thread. Just waiting now on the flash manager and 1.03

is the flash manager link on the MT thread the same for both MT and AT or are they different versions?

 

Did Mat ever say for sure that the kits shipping currently are pre-registered? If not, you'll still need to do the registration emails.

 

yeah the instructions say that your dongle may already be prereg'd but then you still need to do the license verification and ECU/TCU emails with Mat (at least how I understand it)

I believe he said there would be instructions with the new drop that will likely only change showing you which to pick for AT, but the software for MT can be downloaded here and is pretty self explanatory as long as you know what ecu version you got:
