I tested cruise control at 60/65/70/75 on flat highway before release. All 6th gear, if anyone does have any problems let me know!

regarding going uphill, windy conditions, the truck is still going to downshift if it needs to to maintain speed. I've worked a lot on 6th gear being more useable, along with 5th, but on a steady incline you're likely to downshift to 5th.

Note, please remember this was developed without gears, without extra weight. Standard off the lot truck with bigger tires. I have not had any issues maintaining 6th gear @ 65mph for long periods.

Is that just with CC on? Or while driving without CC as well?

You remove that ".[1]" from the end of the filename and it comes back all on its own?

I’m in Louisiana, flat land, slightly bigger tires (3.3% bigger), stock gearing.

Wind was bad during the day. No wind now.

    Video is uploading.

    Both CC and non cruise.

After another 100 miles on today, it's still awesome. A couple of minor quibbles ... in ECT mode, shifting at full throttle seems to be slow and slurry, to the point that the truck noticeably stops accelerating while it shifts. I've also confused the gearbox by going WFO in both D and ECT D - when mashing it to the floor at 50mph, it sounds like it goes from 6th to 3rd to 4th to 3rd within the span of one or two seconds while it figures out what the hell it wants to do. Final thing, I occasionally notice a 3rd to 2nd clunk when decelerating, but it seems to happen more when cold. Hopefully these behaviors go away as the ECU continues to adjust.

Ha! I did some driving on highway 3127 and interstate 310.

When you come from a 1GR VVT and dual VVT, it’s very hard to be happy with this damn truck.

You can probably click "All Files" then select .exe

If that doesn't work PM me.

If I am reading this right, I have the old calibration file 04B02, which is from the last version of OV tunes. Do I need to re-calibrate to the 04B03 in order for the new tune to be able to write to the truck?

I added the .exe to the end of the file name before saving it, and it looks like it finally worked. #windowssucks

When I tried saving it after selecting all files, it still did the same thing. So dumb.

If your existing factory version is 04B02, you should use the OVTune versions that correspond to 04B02.

Just did a little freeway run. It’s much more freeway friendly IMO than 1.02 was. After 1.02 “degraded” after the learning I was finding myself using S-mode almost exclusively (s4 around town, s5 freeway). This felt comfortable in D mode the whole time. I no longer feel like I have to “push it” just to keep up with traffic. Cruises along nicely and will pull well when I need it to.

I’m still experiencing the coming-to-a-stop “clunk” when cold, albeit maybe slightly less pronounced. We’ll see if this goes away as I get more miles on 1.03.

Nothing came up for 91 octane for 04B02. Let alone anything for ECM.

It was there earlier today... cuz I downloaded it.

    OVT.jpg

04B02 was used on the 2016's and the earlier model 2017's. On OVTune's site it is only listed under 2016.
