Read into it. Lots have had trouble with the fitment of it.

    It’s a V6 engine. It’ll never sound good.

@OVTune and @Gadget@URD need to realize people want exhaust flow, not sound. Not sure what matt has in store, but if it’s removing 2 cats and making it one muffler, it’s going to be loud. It needs to be toned down.

I pulled in the other night to my house while my fiancée had her parents over and her dad asked if I drove a 4wheeler.

This. Some sound is nice, but I agree. Too much and its very obnoxious.

I'm experience this on 91 octane tune. 87 is fine but I feel like 91 "shifting at full throttle seems to be slow and slurry, to the point that the truck noticeably stops accelerating while it shifts." I don't know a better way of explaining then the quote above.

One problem that still exist is when flooring at full throttle; from 1st to 2nd the truck have a 1-2 sec surge/delay before it will accelerate. I believe ppl call it "fuel cut" but watching @dYL0n 0-60 sec video, his truck acted normal compare to mine. @OVTune was suppose to address this issue when the tune 1st came out but i told him not to worry about it because i'm sure it's bug that will be addressed.

I will upload a 0-60 sec video and you guys will see what I'm talking about.

    PS Please excuse my english.

Good to know. Either way, I was never able to do a 0-60 sec test due to the 1-2 sec surge/delay at full throttle from 1st to 2nd gear. This is on all the previous and current tune. 2nd gear on shifts fine at full throttle.

Video will be post tomorrow to better understand the problem. :)

Took the truck out last night right after I flashed 1.03 91 Octane.
I tried several things out like ECT, S-Mode, Regular Drive and so on while testing throttle response and different speeds.
During the ECT part I was hauling some ass and enjoying some back roads action when i came up on a turn.
I decelerated but didn't stop and while turning I floored it, As soon as the truck was fully turned the truck was at redline.
Instead of shifting the truck hit the fuel cutoff/limiter and rev'd the highest I've seen it rev. When it did that it fell flat on its face and almost threw me forward. It was almost a fast rev and only shifted when I lifted my foot off the throttle. Once I did that the truck shifted and accelerated like nothing had never happened.

It almost seemed like an over rev. I didn't see the traction control light come on and it didn't feel like I lost traction.

I was unsuccessful in getting the truck to do that again.

Kinda weird but I wanted to report my experience.

I got a new curling game on my phone. I don’t think I’ll be doing much of anything productive within the next few weeks.

I should go back to work.

I bought a new STI back in 2007 and first thing I did was put a 3” Exhaust on it. I had put exhaust systems on all my Honda’s and Acuras prior to this.

Maybe it was because I was hitting my late 20s and was married with a family that I just didn’t care for the noise anymore. I remember getting nervous whenever a police car was around, and hating driving around neighborhoods at night. I always got nervous when people got aggressive around me.

I guess I just grew out of loud exhausts. I have the TRD Exhaust now and it suits me just fine. A little bit throatier than the OEM Exhaust but not too loud. Perfect for me.

Maybe dump the URD and go with a TRD @dYL0n ?

Maybe 4.88 gears is the next thing to try. That’s something I plan on doing within the next year.

I don’t think Internet Explorer is the problem. IE worked just fine for me, no issues at all. It recognized the file as an .exe and saved it as such.

It’s best to think about the process in stages - especially if this is your first time.
    1. Download and install flash manager.
    2. Launch flash manager and download required drivers and support software. Install drivers.
    3. Determine if your dongle needs to be registered using the guardant process. (GRDTru). If yes, send email and wait a few. If no, send email with dongle serial and wait just a little while.
    4. Identify your ECU type to determine if is already supported. If not you must read it and send the data to Matt. (PCMFLASH)
    5. Read ECU if required. (PCMFLASH/email to Mat)
    6. Flash ECU and TCU(PCMFLASH)

Have you tried re-torquing the u-bolts? Not sure if it’s related, but I use to get a clunk off and on during braking, especially when it was raining. Turns out my u-bolts were loose. I retorqued and have been clunk free for about a year now.
