Thank you! Hopefully you can resolve the agressive initial throttle tip in with OEM wheels / tires.

I imagine if it's an exhaust it's to replace the stuff in FRONT of the cat back. Cat back doesn't do a lot with the stock downpipes and he said way earlier that he thought the exhaust was the hindrance to making a good amount of power. I figure that since the cat backs have been out for awhile and he hasn't made a tune that is specific to exhaust mods that the downpipes are the issue
    just my guess though

Anyone getting better mpg with 1.03 or is it the same? I would assume better mpg since its smoother and holds 5th and 6th

    Wow.
The Alex Jones's of TW are now shouting in this thread as well. Look, nobody is coming for your 1.03b throttle. The responsible throttle users can still go about their business, no infringement upon their acceleration freedoms. Realize that there are people out there whose opinion differs from yours, and that's actually ok. If Mat offers a tune version that amends the throttle response, don't go ape. Try not flashing it, I guarantee that will work. Kindly put your dicks away, no need to be telling people they're fucked simply because their experience with the tune doesn't match yours.

I think this tune needs to be paired with new gears to achieve optimal results. 6th gear is somewhat useless.

I am going to run around today with the SSP engaged. The only problem might be mpgs since the SSP requires S mode and the new S mode with 1.03 locks the TC.

I’m a huge fan of the SSP shift points and like the new power band of 1.03. Maybe the answer is a combo. More to follow.

As for the surge, I'm running 1.03/91 octane/ECT mode, I did feel the touchy surge the first day with the new
tune. Not sure what happened but I did as Mat said and let it sit and idle for a solid 10-15 min without touching
it and following that the hair trigger pedal was gone completely, drives perfectly now, not a single complaint.

Anyone have a good OVTune logo we could size to the right pixel count with good clarity for a start-up or screen off image on the Entune HUs? Been trying to think what to actually put on the startup and that would be perfect IMHO.

    Mostly stuff I built.
That will be cool till someone takes their truck to a dealership that the technicians and service writers are familiar with the tune. Then has fits getting warranty coverage for anything after that...

the technicians don't give a shit about if it's tuned or not... only the warranty folks. Technicians only care if it makes their job harder. even then, they would have to PROVE that it was tuned, and that extra work, they're not going to do for free (so the dealership is going to have to instruct them to look for it, otherwise they're going to move on to the next job). I know a couple master techs at Toyota, none of them give a shit about stickers or images on the startup screen. hell even parts they don't fuss about unless it makes their job harder or it's directly related to what's wrong (ie wheel bearing issue with wheel spacers)
