This.... Also, we aren't at the mercy off Toyota's update schedule. As Matt continues development, we get updates.

Matt updates faster, but teases us along the way. Toyota just randomly says "here it is". Not sure which is preferable. Okay, so I actually do know which is preferable.

You forgot about the part where toyota fixes something but doesn't actually tell us. So we have to find out via Tacomaworld and then go argue with the service people who think we are making it up.

Somebody should setup a compilation of questions to Matt, wrap them up daily and post in a single post at 12:00pm and 9pm central time so Matt can reply twice a day and everybody knows when to refresh their screens. Oh, and while they're at it can they pick up my dry cleaning on the way home too?

All in jest of course, lest some panties get bunched.

I ran 20 runs using software to objectively record the times in November. The results between stock and the tune were the same:

0-60 times with 1.02C-A vs stock, 91 octane

With that said, my opinion is 1.03 is a big improvement in 'driveability' over 1.02C-A, after the experience had degraded over the 4 months it was installed (due to learning, apparently). Merging into traffic and the truck not moving for a second after depressing the accelerator was dangerous, to say the least (even with 1.02C-A, after having been installed for so long, just as stock tune behaved prior). 1.03 actually put a big smile on my face on my first test run after installing.

No, I was just wondering if Toyota opted not to go this route, or are incapable. If they opted, Why?

If the answer is they are incapable I'll accept that.
