I agree, but that only works in certain applications...ie general labor, electricians, plumber... Some positions require a lot of experience and kbowledge, specific to the company...so there is value in maintaining employees.

True. I work for ‘the man’ 55+ hours a week. But my consulting work is all me. Day job is 5X more effort managing staff and expectations. But the regular paycheck and security is pretty nice.

Actually you would be surprised. I work as an aircraft structural analyst, primarily expertise in static test and production and field repairs. Have never worked direct except once in college. 1099 Forever.

I helped @TacoSauceHB with his truck’s tune. He was super stoked. We went for a ride after letting it idle for 20 minutes and it felt super smooth. I didn’t hear any gear hunt. He went with the 91 octane tune and it felt snappy on the take offs. I can’t wait to get mine done once I get my truck.

Truck is randomly having a hard time keeping idle. An almost 500-700 rpm swing. No AC/fan or turning of the wheel. Truck never did it before. And it holds 4th gear forever when getting on the freeway to the point I need to upshift in S mode. Reflash it?

Has anyone experienced surging when in reverse and only using idle? Mine does it to the point of being scary as the truck surges and I have to apply the brake to counter act it. I am running the 1.03 87 tune.

Over 500, started in the last couple hundred miles maybe. Truck is a 17 stock pro, (just catback and suspension). I can't replicate the idle surge on demand but the trans hold gear is every time getting on the freeway.

I felt that when I first got the truck but then the dealer flashed it as part of a tsb and I didn’t have the issue anymore. I didn’t have the issue on 1.01 or 1.02a tunes. I do however have it on 1.03 which I have 1200 miles on it so far.
