    Ran 87 initially love it, flashed to 91, love it more. Definitely worth the extra $$. Noticeable improvement from 87, but 87 is still good. Anyone notice any relearning issues or is it safe to say its null? I only had 400 miles on 1.03 87 before flashing to 91.

    only learning I've experienced is the good learning where it's becoming even smoother as it learns all it's targets

    @OVTune

    How does ECT differentiate from stock on 1.03? I know people reported it being different in past versions but not sure what changes you might have done considering all the improvements for stock.

    Confirmed. 1.03 AT (91 tune; running 93 fuel)
    Emissions/Smog: PASS
    Metro Nashville, TN

    NOTE: Clearly all states are different, but my truck was tested by OBD scanner, tailpipe, catalyst inspection, and gas cap/evap test.

    I have bone stock exhaust, intake, air filter

    Also note, I wouldn't take your truck to get tested immediately after flashing as it resets all of the evap-purge stuff and takes a couple of cycles for that to test successfully. I'd also want to make sure time had been given for fuel trims, etc., to even out. In my case I have right at 800 miles on 1.03.

    @OVTune - congrats! :)

    Yes - Laws different here in TN, at least in the Nashville Metro. We have to get yearly check regardless of year as a dependency for tag renewal which I'm up for this month - money grab IMHO

    I had a plate transferred from my prior vehicle which meant I had the same renewal date as my old vehicle. So last year I literally had to take a 4 month old truck in for emissions testing... ha

    ..all that said, Nashville sits in a basin so whatever they can do to catch emissions problems I'm all for..

    Wow i thought we had it bad here in california! Down here you dont have to do it until your vehicle is 6 years old then after that once every 2 years

    I've tried to keep up, but is the '18 Auto tune now wrapped up in 1.03?

    Has anyone with a flash tune confirm the dealer is not able to detect it?

    Dealers can only tell if the ECU has been reset - which a flash does, but disconnecting your battery also does the same thing (and quite common if you install lights, maintain / replace electrical components, even suggested for lighting, etc.,) Beyond this, a dealer hooks up to your OBD and they see no codes, can see the calibration ID of your truck which remains intact and they have no reason to go hunting because your truck just runs well w/ this tune...

    I will say that as I'm putting more miles on the tune I'm noticing less issue w/ the tip-in - every now and again it seems to want to get away from me but its becoming more rare for sure. most of the time is quite smooth off the line. I'm sure I'm subconsciously learning to be easier on the throttle as well but also some (good) learning happening there. The surging is also less frequent - definitely get it in the morning when leaving my neighborhood where it wants to jump a bit when cold and warming and I'll try to get a video but other than when the engine is cold (note it's been in the 50-60s here so it isn't COLD outside). Still is a similar surge to stock when cold though so while it may be nice to get dialed in a bit - not a deal breaker.

    Truth in Mat's comments re: LEAVE IT ALONE and DRIVE IT for awhile. He made a lot of changes this round and it does take time for all of that to work it's way through fully!

    Am I assuming correctly...... “pre registered” means that the the step of emailing back/forth to activate the dongle is no longer necessary? When I get the kit, I just download the software/tunes and flash the truck?
