Yeah I keep waiting for it to suddenly race to 6th at 40mph - but not happening.

 

Sitting here Dongle in hand and no laptop to flash tune with! New Laptop on it's way hopefully on Monday!

Just FYI for all, OVTuned reached out to me via email after I had some questions regarding my intimidation with the directions and this was their reply:

"the new kits have a lot of the steps already done before you receive it and makes it much easier"

Only thing I read was the forums prior to receiving the kit and starting the install, so far I think the directions are pretty fair I didn't run into any hiccups. I personally couldn't find a flash manager link and came here to grab it. I do have a tendency to gloss over documentation. But as for getting everything installed it is pretty straight forward. You have devices that need drivers. The instructions are a hybrid of registered and unregistered so some of the pictures/steps are misleading even if you skip the first portion.

When I read ahead to the actual install part I thought it was strange that it didn't list the TCU flash - just the ECU flash. Again could have been my glossing but I knew it had to happen from reading here. Please correct me if anything is incorrect, definitely was excited as I was downloading and setting up

So with the new kits do you need to do the registration part, or is that done already?
Is the TCU flash done differently (I don't have my kit yet)?
Where did you find that link to the PCM manager?
Also, don't you think it would be nice to just have a numbered list of action items with pics as directions vs what they have?
