I’m in the same boat, as long as it’s not called the eco boost Tacoma. We need a better name.

 

Atkin boost... im guessing the atkinson cycle will still be present with the turbo. Atkinson boost lol...

If I did boost my truck, it'll be a long time off from now. If I still plan to buy a second home in the next 5 years, turbo/SC is definitely going to have to wait lol damn adulting...

I’m pretty sure if I turbocharged my truck, within days Toyota would announce the next gen powertrain.

If I don’t do it, Toyota will run this for 10 years unchanged like the second gen.

OV TURBO Tacoma

OV TURBO will even fit the OV TUNED logo replacing “Tuned” with “Turbo” of course. So now you have a logo that can be put on a decal to be put on the truck. Take it a step further and incorporate it with some 80’s looking stripes with orange on them. 86-87 Turbo pickup, 30th anniversary edition 16-17 Tacoma’s.

God this post has become more numbing now that there is an actual review sticky for the tune. So to add to it

I'm order #2588 purchased on 3-15-18, email on 3-21-18 stating units will ship and on 3-26-18 UPS tracking number created but nothing has ever processed. Saw Matt said something about FedEX holding things up.

Going on 4 weeks now and nothing. Anyone know of updates or did I miss something within the 567 posts I just read since my last comment.

Yeah man, I get it for sure. You've been waiting quite a while. Just know that nobody has been ripped off, Mat is not ignoring you etc etc etc.

We've seen some dandy examples of guys coming on here and saying shit like "I'm getting Paypal/Credit Card company involved to get my money back", or "this fucking guy doesn't know how to run a business" etc etc etc.

Then they get their kit (not as a result of bitching), find out that there was a legit delay in shipping or dongle delivery to OVtune, and realize that they totally embarassed themselves on here. And we remember lol.

That's all.

If you have a beef with Mat, take it up with him. Calling him out on here may seem like a good way to get what you want, when you want.. but trust me you end up looking stupid in most cases.

Not saying that's what you're doing. Just don't let it get that far!

 

That being said, everybody does love a good train wreck. In the event he's hell bent on causing mayhem
