Almost looks like, because of the much more aggressive throttle that perhaps the ECU says "oh, no you don't go that fast!" and cuts throttle, then the map says MORE throttle, ECU says "not that fast!" and cuts then the cycle repeats. Almost like perhaps the ECUs "corrections" are fighting the throttle maps in that low range to maintain a linear engine / load acceleration?

Super late to the party here I'm sure...there's 784 pages which is unbelievable! I've read most everything on the MT thread, since I have a MT.

But, anyone else (still) waiting weeks and weeks for their kit to ship? I got a shipment notification almost 3 weeks ago from UPS directly and as of today it still hasn't been delivered to the carrier. Mat said kits would be "shipping ASAP" but that was more than week ago.

I am getting too anxious over here after spending $800 and waiting for my life to be changed forever!

Also - does this show the same sort of pattern if you have traction control completely off?

The trucks have brake assist. It might be the abs solinoids releasing pressure.

How do you display the graph? I just logged my first run. I can replay the raw data, but can’t figure out how to graph it.

Howdy out there in TW land. I have the first version of 1.03 that was released back in February and I know that Mat is about to drop a new update, but I'm curious to know what the difference between it and the 3/10/18 update on the 1st page of this thread.

Oops.... Let me rephrase that question. What is the difference between the original 1.03 release and the update from 3/10/18?

Hmmmm, I am unsure of this. I think that was the initial release of 1.03. I remember being on a trip at the end of Feb and the beginning of March and came home to 1.03 sometime that first week. For AT, i believe there has only been the one release of 1.03 so far.

If you are still on 1.03, I'd just stay there until the new tune is released sometime "soon"

Here is a Matt question: How much HP and TQ are gained mid-range using 1.03 automatic version on 87 pump gas. I believe the 20-30 something gains in low to mid-range were on a 91 octane tune. GTS Bruce

The gains are for the 91 octane. Im sure there are gains for the 87 but they would be Very minimal

I've been running the 1.03 with 87. Whatever the gains are, it can run hills at interstate speeds in 5th (barely) where previously it was 4th gear only.

Can tacomas run e85? I would double check.

Are you running the 91 tune? Seems to be the more buttery tune.
